Statehouse Highline on 9th Review
Rent is high but enjoy the amenities and safety of living in an apartment complex.

I recommend!
It’s close to the main campus. And it’s not next to the street which makes it relatively quiet at night, compared to other statehouse apartments. The office staffs there are nice and helpful. They do take parcels for you but it’s only during office time(mon-sat 10am-5pm). I have submitted several work orders and they fix it pretty fast for free. They have movie night and other community activity. They have a small gym and outdoor swimming pool. You do need to take care of your own water gas electric and internet.

Highline on 9th
My experience in the apartment is mostly positive. The building is new and modern and the common amenities are very decent. I use the gym often and it is very usable. The pool and clubhouse are great amenities. The building has recently become part of the Statehouse properties and the new management has done a very good of making the experience better than it was before. I moved in last year and the move was below my expectations. My apartment was not ready and had a few issues I had to sort out and I am still sorting out. The apartment came fully furnished, and the furnishings are serviceable but not the best. The new management has done a very good job of making the apartment a good place to live. The neighborhood is good as a student and is very convenient. I live on a first floor which I don't particularly like but it is not bad.

Do not live here
I like my physical apartment but the management company is not good. They are very dismissive of problems and fail to respond to maintenance requests timely. The hallways and lobby are dirty, and the elevator was broken for 6 weeks. One of the doors in the building is also broken so there is no security to keep people out who do not live there. The rent is also insane and doesn’t include parking or utilities. While walking to school is nice, it does not make up for the negatives about this complex.

Overall good apartment although some of the appliances and apartment itself needs some repairs. They are typically good about maintenance requests.

One Pearl Place Review
My apartment is located conveniently close to campus and I love being able to walk. It also has a pool, a workout room, and a coffee station that are open to residents. The leasing company is quick to answer complaints and maintenance issues and they are helpful if you stop by during the day. It is however expensive for the size of it and it is really dark. There are not lights in the bedroom space and it makes it difficult to read at night if you like to do homework in your bed.

One Pearl Place
The complex is very safe (have to have an fab to get in) and has its own gym. There is also a pool. Even living in a studio, there is room for everything I need. All units have washer and dryer in-unit. There are so many windows and a full kitchen and stainless steel appliances. There is free printing and coffee/hot chocolate (which comes in handy for finals)! Parking is $100 a month and is in a covered garage. Also, there are movie and game rooms that you can rent out. There are a lot of law students that live there if there is ever something you need. That’s been nice to have a small community there. There are normally no mechanical issues in the apartment. The only downside is the fact that the show is hard to clean. Also to get to one side of the building to the other you have to go through the garage.
