Good Value for A Great Location
The Depot is an older building but has recently renovated units for a very fair price, especially considering the location! It is a 10-15 minute walk to most everything in downtown, and feels pretty central to everything else in Fort Worth!
The bedroom sizes are also unexpectedly large!

Bad management, towing, loud
Overall I’d stay away from this building and would move myself if it weren’t such a pain.
Great location except that theres lots of noise because it’s close to the highway
The renovated apartments are pretty nice
Everybody I know who lives here has had a problem with their towing policy
They towed my prior roommates moving van. I got towed due to an administrative error by management. The same happened to another TAMU student I know who lives here. Visitors sometimes have trouble with the registration portal and then get towed.
If you get towed, Management will sometimes help you and sometimes not depending on their unilateral assessment of how well you complied with their confusing policies and online portals. You’re at their mercy and they can be unreasonable.
Management is nice but unable to solve problems without running everything up the corporate chain with takes days - weeks to resolve. I had a basic lease issue and was in limbo getting charged a per diem while management waited for their boss to decide. I ended up calling corporate myself which sped things up.
There are hidden fees and rules that management enforces in a super petty way.
Hidden cleaning fees when you move
Difficulty getting your deposit back
If you are late bringing in your garbage can management will take it and charge you money to get it back
They are Responsive to minor maintenance issues though.
I live here for the downtown location but in retrospect it hasn’t been worth the headaches with management. I suggest you live somewhere else so you can focus on your studies.

Great place for an individual!
I love the Depot! It’s a 3 minute drive from school and a 5 minute walk from Sundance square. It’s a great space for one and a very nice community.

Very spacious and close to campus!
I share my apartment with another Texas A&M Law student, and it's about a 3-5 minute drive to campus. The apartment has a lot of room in the bedrooms and bathrooms. The only problems are that the gym is very tiny, the towing is pretty bad if you don't sign in, and it is near a highway and two railroad tracks. If you okay with a little highway and train noise, then it's a great apartment.

Great Value for Great Location
The price + location of this apartment is really hard to beat. While it is not the newest or shiniest apartment complex in the area, it is certainly not run down and is a very good apartment if you're looking for value and convenience to downtown Fort Worth entertainment/jobs/shopping/school etc. We are students, and we really like living here. We are in a non-renovated unit, and we still love it. So if you are looking for a bit more bougieness, probably opt for the renovated units they have here! There is always plenty of parking, and we feel pretty safe despite being so close to downtown! The police station is very close by, so that helps too!

Pretty Good but Could be better
Very close to school. Train and upstairs neighbor can be loud at times. Maintenance is good. Like the garage. Pretty safe. Three packages stolen in three years. Plenty of room.

What you need without the Bells and Whistles
The apartment is close enough to the law school that walking, biking or driving are all viable options for transportation. We were lucky enough to move into a first floor unit with an attached garage that has allowed us to own a kayak, smoker/grill, and shielded us from hail and other weather. The place looks like it could use an update, but for the price you can’t beat it. The pool is simple and the gym is comparable to a hotel exercise room with a couple cable machines, a few free weights and a few treadmills. The dog park area is nice, but simple. The area feels safe and we have never had anything stolen despite having left our garage open over night several times by accident. Parking is free but scarce without an attached garage. The train noise may be a problem if you need total silence and the windows in the master bedroom let in too much light and are not easily covered by a curtain. Walls are thin. Light sleepers might want to avoid. Not very many communal or study areas. Big dogs allowed, I have seen several mixes and German shepherds. Overall it is a good option for those not looking to pay for the niceties or luxury of a brand new apartment but wants the convenience of living close to the school.

Ok place, but too expensive
Rent increased 200 when we went to renew. Not worth the price. Everything is very old (appliances, floors, cabinets, and shower). Close to the Law School and only takes 4 mins to get to class. Office people are not very nice. Maintenance guys are friendly. Lots of dog poop on the property. Garbage backs up and is not well managed. Too close to the train and freeway, very noisy.

The Depot Apartments Review
Nothing to complain about but no merits, either.

I like living at The Depot.
I like this apartment complex because it is very close to the law school. My drive is about 5 minutes which is nice because I spend a lot of time at the school, but I can always run home quickly if I need to. Also, it’s a little bit cheaper than some of the other properties. Of course, that means that the amenities aren’t top notch, but I think they are good enough. I don’t really spend a lot of time at my apartment because of how busy I am with school, so I am happy to have average amenities if that means paying a little less for my apartment.
