The Foundry

Apartment has a great location. Close to campus and is on Eddy Street which offers restaurants and bars etc. Property is managed poorly - elevator does not always work and they are not responsive. Probably because of the monopoly like position the company has.

The Foundry is a very accommodating apartment. My studio is spacious enough for just me and if I am feeling a bit cramped there are study rooms on every floor that are usually open and free to use. I feel safe considering you must have a key to enter the building and a key to get to your apartment. The close proximity to campus makes it easy to walk to class. There are plenty of people walking to and from campus and the walk way is well lit.

Foundry has the best location and management team. I would recommend anyone who doesn’t know the area well to live here!

Experience at the apartment was good until this year with COVID as management failed to inform its applicant that undergrads were allowed to live there however stating on the website that they were not allowed to live there and then came the noise constant parties, dealings with management, multiple confrontations with neighbors.

If you decide on living there demand a fourth floor apartment

Nice Place Management is Terrible

The Foundry has everything you need. It has newly built units. It has every amenity you can think of. Its location is extremely close to campus, especially the business the school and the football stadium. It is one of the safest areas near campus. There is no where I would rather have lived.

Excellent studio apartment conveniently located near campus. However, I have several major work orders on my apartment months old and some neighbors do not live up to the ‘premium lifestyle’ Buckingham prides themself on.

Great for walking to class. Apartment is sufficiently sized. While rent is seemingly cheap, utilities, other fees, and the bare necessity of wifi will start to add another significant portion to rent. Management isn’t fantastic, but eventually responds.

I have had a great experience at the Foundry. It’s clean, has nice appliances, and is a short walk from the business school.

Unit wasn’t clean upon arrival. They aren’t very responsive to requests. Close to campus and close to classmates in the program.
