The more convenient and less annoying part of West Campus
The overall complex is usually kind of untidy since it is a bunch of condos. The afternoon sun coming in the windows can really heat up the side facing 29th, but that also helps keep heating down in the winter and I would rather have windows and a good view. It is Texas; it's hot. Go get in the pool to cool off. Traffic can also be kind of loud since 29th is the main route between Lamar and Guadalupe in that area.
Overall all the concerns are very minor compared to how nice it is. The unit is very nice and each bedroom has a separate bathroom so we don't have roommate negotiations over bathrooms. There are lots of windows that help the place feel bigger, and the floor plan is very practical. It is very close to the University, several bus routes, highways, great restaurants/bars, and local retail. It's great. I love living here.
