Does the trick
renting a bedroom in a 3 bedroom apartment. has on site laundry equipment for a charge. the place has some oddities. for example other tenants saying the landlord told them that my kitchen was a “community area” (after they walked straight into my kitchen)... but when asked, the landlord said he didn’t consider it community space and that nobody else would come in—afterwards this wasn’t an issue but still bothered me. also the hall sometimes smells like marijuana. all in all i have a decent room here and the location is great, especially for the price. it’s located right next to everything in westwood. he wanted an extra 200 for a parking space which i declined. the internet situation is terrible bc the landlord provides it and it’s the worst and bc he provides it to the whole building i can’t set up my own account. i’ve lived in LA before so it was easier for me to look and just found the apartment last minute on craigslist. i would’ve preferred grad housing.
