An old school apartment

Building is a bit older. Right next to a bus stop. Management company is attentive and good to work with. There's a pool, but I've never used it. One downside is the coun operated washer and dryer.

The price is right but there’s much to be desired

This apartment has no frills. There’s onsite laundry but there’s only 3 washers and 2 dryers for 24 units. There was a gas leak at one point and we were didn’t have hot water or a working stove for three weeks. They also decided to begin a huge roofing project right around when finals started, so it was nearly impossible to study at home.

Speaking of hot water, there’s only two water temperatures. You are unable to adjust the temperature in any way, which means that there’s a cold temperature and a warm temperature coming out of the faucets and that’s it. During the summer, they tend to lower the warm temperature. For the entire summer the warmest the water will get is slightly above room temperature.

Also, the bedroom windows don’t open.

Other than that it’s a relatively ok place to live
