Average and Overpriced - better alternatives available
The front desk are notoriously unhelpful to residents. Personally, I have been lucky and have not experienced any severe issues within my unit. However, I have had neighbors with bug infestations and serious issues, including maintenance opening their unit doors while they are in the shower. I have had a poor experience with the front desk in terms of customer service. In terms of living, I would rate the property as average. My reasoning is mainly because it is priced well above its value. I moved in because it was the only building with a 1/1 available but the lack of security and unhelpful building manager have caused me distress. I cannot recommend this building as a great place to live. I can only say it is convenient if you attend FIU Law.

The One University
This is a nice apartment complex. I haven't had many issues living here. I've renewed my lease here. The best aspect of it is the proximity to campus. It is very convenient, and at times I will walk to my classes.

The One
The apartment was convenient being close to campus. This made going to and from class very easy and walking to class was an option. The apartment itself was not the nicest, especially for what you paid for. The room was a decent size but honestly, it was the bare minimum. Further, the maintenance was not that great and they never helped you when you had a problem.

Horrible living environment
There is urine in the elevators, they steal your food, your groceries, your door mat anything and everything that is outside your door. They charge you $50 for a gate that is broken. They tow your car without validating your license. I pay for the convenience of crossing the streets.

Bad housing
There is urine on the floor regularly, your car gets towed by mistake, smells like THC all the time in the hallways. Neighbors are nice.

Good
Good location. Downside is parking is extra

The one
If this were a YELP review it would be a negative one. The carpet smells really bad, to the point that I wake up so stuffy, barely breath. Thankfully my window opens so at least I can breath fresh air. The One towed my car even though I pay $150 a month. I was told by others its a scam. It is the luxury of living across the street from school. I tell myself its a sacrifice all together to get closer to my dreams.

It was my last option
I would recommend leasing elsewhere due to the fact that management is never helpful and the property amenities are never clean. It is definitely overpriced for 1x1
