Huntington Place

Safe, very loud by highway, drag racing on road right outside circle, depends on the building. Maintenance good once you move in, but wont fix anything that was there when you sign into the apartment, such as " You have new paint"....except there's a huge black mark on the wall from the carpet guys and they wont get it painted over since we signed in to the apartment. Safe enough, but bike was stolen from under the stairs within a month of moving in, yes it was locked up. Pool open all year around is nice. Old apartments, but close to school and good square footage. Important for me because I am in the market for a car and I can walk to school from here.

Close to campus

Great experience, have lived there for first 2 years of med school. Very close to the med school and very affordable (paying less for 2 roommates in a 3 bedroom than most are paying for a 2 bedroom). Kind and helpful management and nice apartment overall.

It was fine. Super close to the med school. Older apartment but still well taken care of. Big rooms and big closets. Never felt unsafe going for walks in the neighborhood but it is a small neighborhood. Has a dog park. Maintenance was pretty responsive to issues. There is a "gym" but its tiny.

Good apartment and cheap. Definitely on the older side but you get what you pay for. Super close to the SOM. I never felt unsafe and maintenance did a good job responding to my requests quickly.

Older building and appliances. Overall vlean and well maintained. Instant responses when something needs fixed. Large closets/storage. Relatively safe and quiet environment.

I like how close it is to the medical school campus. I can walk to school in 10-15 minutes.

Nice apartment, very close to school

The rent is super affordable. The kitchen is outdated and small, but the other rooms are large. Everything is well maintained and there's no problem finding parking. It's a quiet neighborhood so it's a good place to study/rest. The staff is friendly and accessible. A negative is the amount of palmetto bugs we find in the summer.

For any students at the UofSC School of Medicine, this is a perfect apartment complex as it is less than a mile from the school, making it a 2 minute drive . With mostly 2bed/2bath apartments, it is very easy to have a roommate without sharing too much space. Pricing is very affordable (better than 1 bed/bath apartments in many cases).
