Served Its Purpose But Expensive For What It Is
The building is very close to school, which is nice, but there is not as much to do in University City (as compared to Center City or Rittenhouse). I don't take advantage of the amenities that much, but there is a decent pool, a nice rooftop area, and a good gym. Maintenance has entered my apartment without notice on multiple occasions, leaving a mess behind for me to clean up more than once. There are also random alarms that go off at any given time and then stop after 20 minutes with no further explanation. It was a much more difficult process than is warranted to renew my lease each year and the rent climbs more than it's worth in my opinion. But, it served me well for the purpose I needed while I was a student.

Looks super nice but has some issues
The building and apartment look very nice, with a sleek and modern appearance. However, the building definitely has issues. For example, the trash chute on my floor has not worked the entire time I've lived here this semester. Maintenance has entered my apartment without notice on multiple occasions. The sauna (located above me) flooded and damaged my apartment, but I never received any notice...I simply walked into a damaged apartment and had to figure it out for myself.

Living at Standard
The rent is not cheap but worth it. This is a new apartment, so the facilities are well-equipped and clean. I know in older buildings, there might be cockroaches or mice, but here, I have never seen them. Close to campus and to center city, I feel just good living here.

The Standard
Gorgeous building with nice amenities. Communication from management is sometimes vague and confusing, but could be because the building just opened summer 2023.
