Older Apartments at a Great Price

This complex is older, and nothing in the apartments have been updated from the 80s. However, they have been well kept and their policy of repair instead of replace has kept the rent down. Two pets are allowed per apartment.

It is about 4.5 miles south of campus, and is close to bus lines that go directly to campus. It is a great location for being close to south Austin restaurants, bars, and coffee spots like Radio.

The complex is grandfathered into a free internet plan through mid-2025 (although the speeds aren't great). You can also pay for Google Fiber. Electricity is the only other utility renters have to pay for. Rental insurance is also required.

There is a security guard on duty from about 9pm through 5am that circles the property, so there is little to no crime in the area.

I believe there is a wait list to get an apartment here, so I'm not sure this is a feasible choice for incoming students, but if you can manage it, it is a great deal.
