Vintage Durham

I got 2 months’ rent off my 12-month lease, which was very helpful. It’s about 800 meters from Lancaster Commons, where you can get the Duke bus to West Campus. The neighborhood is walkable. You can walk from the apartment to Target, Burger King, Ross Dress for Less.

The surroundings are beautiful and serene. I love my spacious 1-bedroom. Entry into the buildings is access controlled - you can use an app or key fob. The gym and pool are decent. We get valet trash service Sun - Thur. Property managers, especially Taliyah, are very helpful and responsive. Maintenance is also very responsive. We have interesting weekly community events - including 2 free glasses of wine during happy hour on Fridays.

I gave a 9 and not 10 because the elevator in my building broke down a couple of times and it took too long to get fixed so was very inconvenient. Also, there’s no package notification service.

I have loved my experience so far at Vintage Durham. The property is very new, with the first tenant moving in at the beginning of 2025, but the staff is very knowledgeable. The apartment is very conveniently located—right across the street from the Super Target/Durham Chapel Hill Road and with easy access to I-40. It takes about ~9 minutes to get to campus. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The amenities are nice, especially the gym and pool.
