ST Living - La Tijera Review
I really enjoy the location of my apartment. It's about 20-30 minutes from downtown, Santa Monica, LBC, UCLA, etc. The complex also doesn't have many units, so it's pretty quiet and everyone is respectful. I also enjoy that the apartment is updated with nice appliances and has three levels with a private rooftop area. There are a few downfalls however. The first is tandem parking; when I had a roommate we had conflicting schedules, so I was always moving my car. Additionally, it can take a while for things to get fixed when you make a maintenance request. The greatest down fall is the rent, which continues to increase each year. Given that there are no amenities and water, garbage, wi-fi, gas aren't included, it's a huge expense when you don't have a roommate.
