Good building, can be a bit noisy
I like living in this building, though it's a bit pricey! The location is convenient if you want to be close to downtown, and they have a nice gym and pool and other amenities. Parking is in a gated garage which is helpful. However, the Demonbreun street side can get a bit noisy some nights, so I'd recommend living over on the Division street side.

Realistic Review of Camden
Camden is a busy apartment building but has an extremely attentive service staff. Service needs are filled within 24hrs and there is a daily cleaning crew that keeps the building clean. This is a very young building though some families do live here. Apartment walls are very thick- the only time you hear other residents is from the hall. However, avoid living on the demonbreun st side- the street level noise can be an issue. The building overall is a great place to be walking distance from school but far enough away to not run into classmates every elevator ride.

Decent apartment/ready to move
Love my actually apartment layout/view from the 17th floor. Its about a 15 minute walk to both campus and the gulch. A new management company in the past few years has drastically decreased my opinion of the property. Guest parking is a hassle, the majority of the staff (concierge) are unhelpful and rude, and I've had several problems with neighbors (noise and smoking). With that being said, it is a convenient location and pet-friendly. Amenities are average.

Definitely not a budget option
Pricey but great staff, and say location from campus, and beautiful apartments and facilities.

Nice
Its a very very nice building in a walkable location (12 minute walk from school). 24/7 concierge service, packages secured by concierge, 24/7 maintenance, parking included in the rent. Across the street are tons of restaurants/bars and a coffee shop. Secured parking lot and secured key/elevator access. I feel very safe.
Crowd is a mixture of families, students, working professionals
Cons: I did find one mice in the gym once! Also the building doesnt smell that great, especially over the weekend when drunk people leave food in the elevator

Camden (formerly Element Music Row)
everything's been great. only complaint is if you face Demonbreun, it's generally loud from the bars across the street and the noise goes through the night.

Element/Camden Music Row Review
Giant closets, gym included, rooftop pool, study room, parking garage with gate, maintenance is good. If you're facing Demonbreun St, it can get loud from the restaurants, party buses, tourists, etc, Thursday-Sunday. Camden Music Row bought Element and now the management isn't as great, but still is better than most places I have lived before. Security is still good, just a little messier and front desk isn't as responsive.

Solid apartment in good location
Element is well situated, not too far from campus and close to Midtown and even downtown. Units are nice, with washers and dryers, parking is included in rent, and there is a nice gym in the building. A little pricey but about the same as other Midtown options.

Owner review
Love that it is close to Vanderbilt (short drive, 25 min walk, or 10 min bike ride) but also to other neighborhoods like Edgehill, downtown, Germantown, East Nashville, Midtown, etc. The building has all needed amenities and many good boutique gyms, restaurants/easy eating, and bars close by. I also feel safe walking around the neighboring areas. It also has easy access to the highway (I-40). Unfortunately, because of its proximity to the Demonbreun bars, it can get loud with outdoor concerts or late at night if the balcony door is open. It is also located in some what of a food dessert (no easy access/affordable grocery stores). They recently opened a Publix a mile or so away. The local parking is very limited and this can be challenging when friends/family visit. The management is very responsive and helps identify changes though they are quite strict on certain building rules. The best part is the great view of the ever-changing downtown skyline!

Element Music Row Studio
So far, so good. Move in process was very easy. Amenities are in good condition, as was the unit when I moved in. Competitive rent relative to other alternatives. Spacious for a studio. Close to campus.
