Great service: front desk staff is very responsive and service technicians respond to all service requests in 1-2 days.

Complimentary coffee available in the open lounge, and good gym amenities.

Pricey but close to campus

As a student, I wanted to live close to Belmont so I was willing to pay a little bit more. I love living near Centennial Park and that this building is relatively quiet. There are multiple restaurants within walking distance too. I would recommend splitting a 2br with a roommate to make it more affordable.

ParkCentral - Lots of Positives, but plenty of room for improvement

Park Central is located in Midtown and is in very close proximity to Centennial Park. The apartments have great kitchens with granite counter-tops, stylish cabinets, stainless steel appliances, wood-styled floors, spacious closets, and a lot of living room space. The gigabit internet speed is mostly reliable and does a great job with multiple devices in the apartment. The amenities that I use most would be the gym upstairs, which is best for a quick workout. The pool on the top floor is very aesthetically pleasing, and looks very nice, I've just never used it.
The downsides that I think are worth mentioning are the following:
1.)Odd rules regarding recycling cardboard - you have to take all cardboard downstairs to the 1st floor of the parking garage
2.) An unsatisfactory television cable plan is included in your rent, which I never use because of the poor quality of channels and low resolution - it's just another way to inflate rent prices.

Midtown Reviews

Midtown offers fun options for the weekend and convenience while commuting. It's a busy part of town but it's safe to walk to campus.
The area is great. Easy access to bus stops for transportation, but within walking distance to many attractions.
There are a great deal of restaurants & bars right across the street, and when it's warm out it's nice to be able to walk to the midtown area too. You just walk outside and hear music coming from the bars, whether it be live music or just a radio.
Centenniel is right across the street so you can hear the ambulances if you live on the front side of the building - they have never bothered me and I'm a pretty light sleeper. Behind the building is a train that runs about twice a day - I have a friend who lives on that side and he doesn't seem too bothered by it.
Although we have free coffee, there is a Starbucks right next door if you're feeling fancy.
The neighborhood is very quiet, which I really like. West end avenue can feel a little less safe at night but overall I love that we are so close to a starbucks, Walgreens and grocery store as well as the school/hospital/gym. Easy to live here if you don't have a car/don't want to use it as well.
Close proximity to all things Vanderbilt and the medical center. There are a handful of coffee shops and easy restaurants in walking distance, but this isn't a "hot spot" of new/flashy/touristy Nashville restaurants and spots (for better or for worse).
Not really a lot of bars but less than 5 minutes from a chipotle, panera, and Tzatziki's. Some fancier restaurants in the area too. Main pull is the closeness to the university.
The area is nice. Acklen is back in a residential area so you're away from the noise of West End. We have a Walgreen's and Piggly Wiggly within walking distance.
