12 South Apartments is nice!

I like the apartment location, the staff are friendly, it is just very expensive for a student and not always the best in terms of responding quickly to maintenance calls. Parking can be difficult too but overall, it's a great place to live and the atmosphere is always pleasant. They are pet friendly too.

I really like living so close to school. It only takes me about 5 minutes to drive. I also really like living in the 12 S area and I always feel safe.

Can't beat the location

I live at 12 South Flats with my boyfriend. The community here is the best part, if you're a dog owner, you and your dog are going to be in doggie heaven. Great community of owners and as someone who moved from out of town this building has been a wonderful way to meet friends in the building. I also love the fact that the overall caliber of resident is more geared and young professionals (think late 20's to mid-thirties). This was a big win for us as our last place in the Gulch felt like a perpetual frat party. Overall the residents and the management staff are easy going. Misty in the front office is a saint and Emir who runs the maintenance show is super responsive. Can't say enough good things about this place except it's pricey. Very pricey. Oh and that you'll probably eat Jeni's icecream 10x more than your diet actually allows given the proximity.

Cute farmer stand a few blocks away, lots of great restaurants, fun shopping, family-friendly with lots of dogs. Dog park behind the building.

Like everywhere, there's an occasional safety concern, but generally I feel super safe which is really important to me. A lot of noise with construction going on around us but you can't beat the convenience.

12 south is very fun to live in. The traffic can be difficult especially with construction and on the weekends. Otherwise feels very safe
