Sunny & Spacious Studio

As a single person moving to DC, I wanted to make sure that the apartment I moved into was spacious and had ample sunlight. Although I live in the studio, the square footage is comparable to most 1BR in the neighborhood. It's a 15 minute walk from the center of Dupont (and the Georgetown GUTS bus), Adams Morgan & 18th street. There are three bus lines that are super close that has a direct stop to major retailers like Target & Best Buy.

There are TONS of closet space - closets are adjustable. The kitchen also has a lot of appliances: dishwasher, garbage disposal, etc. and ample cabinet & counter space. It's also close to an entrance to Rock Creek Park. I also have central air in my unit and have control of the temperature.

My only issue is that the property is on top of a large hill on Connecticut, you get used to walking home from Dupont but be warned if you plan on walking everywhere. There also is not a fully-stocked grocery store close by (about a 10 minute walk). Note that this building is pet-free.

2000 Connecticut

Amazing! I really love my apartment building. It's a 2 bedroom, 1 bath. In-unit laundry, dishwasher, bike storage, building gym, rooftop w/ grill (gas). The rent is definitely more pricey but, they are offering incentive programs right now (I was able to get 2 months free when I moved in). Plus, the building's staff provide exceptional service.

Great location (close to the Dupont shuttle to campus, metro access, D2/D6 Metro bus to campus). Proximity to grocery stores (TJ's on 14th St. ;Harris Teeter in Adams Morgan). Close to Rose Creek park for running/bike trail.

A great building with lots of perks

The apartment building is wonderful. It was recently updated, so everything runs smoothly, and the building itself is well-maintained. The building does events at least once a month for all of the residents. Even though I live in a studio, it does feel much more like a one-bedroom--I've lived in the unit for over a year and I've never felt cramped. The kitchen is big enough for me and there's in-unit laundry--both important for me.

I like where the building is located for school--I can walk to campus in about fifteen minutes--and I can take the red line to my internship on Capitol Hill and get there within twenty minutes. That said, there are no big grocery stores near it, so it's a bit of a hike into Adams Morgan for one. It's also adjacent to a pricier part of the city, so some of the nearby stores have higher prices than you might find if you were in Shaw or Columbia Heights.

A great studio

I've enjoyed living at 2000 Connecticut. The location is really ideal for going to GW Law - not so close to campus that I'm surrounded by undergrads, but close enough that I can walk to school in less than 20 minutes. The building itself is safe and clean, and the apartment is spacious for a studio - a lot of storage space, with enough room that I don't feel like I'm going to get cabin fever.

Wonderful!!

Wonderful apartment and management team! We have street parking that allows us to park almost everywhere in DC. The apartment is updated, sunny, and very clean. Our maintenance team is extremely responsive and issues typically get resolved in less than 24 hours. The building has a small gym room and a roof with tables/nice grill. The surrounding area is very fun and we are able to easily walk to Adams Morgan, Dupont, and 14th St. We have had zero complaints.

2000 Connecticut Ave Apartment

This is a nice luxury apartment in the heart of DC. Located in the DuPont Circle. Pricey but has a lot of neat amenities like gym and dryer and washers. Would recommend living there despite the high cost due to environment, night life is good, and is in walking distance to red line metro.

Highly recommended place to live

2000 Connecticut is a great building. Beautiful place, nice roof, excellent staff who are really on top of it. Very happy to be a resident here. The junior one-bedrooms are tight but nice for two people. One criticism: The walls are a little thin -- I wish there was more sound insulation. Nice views. Nice fixtures. Washer/dryer in unit work very well. Really glad to live here and no, you can't have our apartment.
