Small but great value

I have a junior one bedroom which is quite small but with a reasonable price (for the area), renovated with good appliances (although small oven, dishwasher and refrigerator) and the building is prompt to fix any issues. We have a small gym in the basement which gets hot but has two treadmills, two ellipticals, peloton bike and some hand weights so it works. I do love this apartment and feel comfortable that my concerns get addressed - just know that the apartment is small, doesn't have a rooftop or pool, but you're really paying to live in this awesome area.

Good for location and the basics

I love my apartment location and don't mind its small size. However, there are other apartments in the area that are about the same cost and come with better amenities - such as in-unit W/D and dishwasher, upgraded apartment interiors such as stainless teel appliances, nicer countertops and hardwood floors, a better gym, and community spaces.

Good value in an older building

I've really enjoyed living at Sutton Plaza. While it isn't as nice as some of the newer buildings in DC, it's also significantly cheaper and and the location is still great. The staff is really friendly and building management does a good job of responding to repair requests. I really like the surrounding neighborhood as well.

Logan Circle Reviews

Logan Circle is the perfect location! It's close to 14th St and P St and the up and coming Shaw neighborhood so you have tons of restaurants, gyms and shops in walking distance. You're also walking distance to U st, Dupont, downtown (Farragut), Metro Center and Chinatown so you are ideally located - can get to any metro line in 10-20 minutes walking.
I think this is the best location if you want to be in DC and work in McLean. Unfortunately, having to be close to the Silver line somewhat limits where you can live in DC (unless you want to transfer metro lines). While my commute could still take up to an hour, I think it is worth it because Logan Circle has so many great restaurants and bars. Also, I can very easily walk to a ton of other neighborhoods (Dupont, Shaw, etc.)
This part of town has gentrified drastically in a short amount of time. That comes with the good and the bad. There are so many developments going up that it has misplaced the communities that once lived here. However, there are still hip old tropes of those communities up and down U St and 14th St. Ethiopian dive restaurants, to great music clubs, and a safe, lively gay scene, this is a booming part of town.
Walking distance to several metro lines and going-out areas.
Logan Circle is my favorite neighborhood in DC for living and leisure. I have every type of grocery store within a 5 minute walk from my apartment, multiple gyms, and most of my favorite bars and restaurants.
Its is a fairly nice neighborhood with a lot of families. It is quiet and doesn't have almost any criminal activity. It is a great place to start a family
All you need is close by or within walking distance or a quick Uber. Good variety of restaurants and bars. Parks nearby and safe location.
Lots of restaurants, grocery stores, bars, and fun things to do. Not the cheapest place to live but a great spot to be in.
