You honestly cannot beat the price for a one bedroom in West Campus. The units are also nicely updated Nothing fancy but not old and creepy like some older units in west campus. Its a super cool treehouse style building and everything is included in the price minus electricity.

West Campus is where most of the undergraduate population at UT lives. Thus, it's somewhat noisy. However, a pair of earplugs for the occasional weekend night will solve that problem. It's really close to UT and, while it is on the opposite end of campus from the law school, there are several bus route that are free with your UT ID that take you very close to the law school. It also has restaurants and other things within easy distance.
Loud, dirty, expensive. No charm, but good access to campus. One mile from grocery store, not counting Target. Bus access is pretty okay. A lot of overflowing trash and fraternities are noisy.
Neighborhood is quiet and tree lined. Walking distance from target, chick fila etc.
West Campus is great. It's close to UT and Guadalupe. The parties can be very loud and younger kids can be very annoying on Saturdays. They will keep you up late at night and puke in your building's elevator.
Good amount of people walking on the streets, so fairly safe even at late hours. Decently well lit neighborhood. Some issues with package theft. Can be loud if next to the frat houses.
