Fabulous location (you pay for it), would not live anywhere else

Tower Plaza is a great place to live. I am located with a 1 block radius of 5 coffee shops and am an easy walking distance from all the libraries and anything downtown. I haven't missed the social loss of not living in "white coat" because if people are going to go out there are going to come downtown and I can meet them. You can walk everywhere, including to school. I have the same distance/time walk to the medical school as most in white coat. There are also multiple buses that shorten that walk that drop you off right at the medical school or at the hospitals. The distance to the hospitals is longer, but I have a scooter (nearby indoor parking is free) and that enables me to get to the hospitals quickly on those early rotations. The downsides to Tower Plaza is the expense, apartments are generally 1200+/month. There is also no parking included. I rent a spot nearby that is very convenient. There is a parking structure on the same block that friends/family can use and a lot behind the building for loading/unloading.

Amazing location and views

Tower Plaza is the perfect location - it takes me 10 minutes to walk to Ross and the building itself is surrounded by bars and restaurants. The building has 26 floors so apartment views are wonderful - I can see into the Big House from my living room. The building is safe and well kept. There are options for furnished/unfurnished, studio, 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom.

Tower Plaza

Great location, 8-10 min walk to Ross, right next to all main bars and restaurants too.
15 min walk to the bus for football games.
Safe, clean, only complaint is $1200 is a little pricey for an MBA experience, but overall worth it.

Great location, near school and popular hangout places

Tower Plaza is older compare to other condo buildings but its location is unbeatable. Although facilities might be a little old, the repair service of the building is excellent. It is also in a safe neighbourhood and right in the center of all the popular hang-out places (e.g. 2min walk from Skeeps and Hopcat) - great place for those who might have FOMO and wants to stay social!

About Old Fourth Ward

Old Fourth Ward was one of the first residential areas in Ann Arbor. While keeping its old-town feel, the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood is now also a modern spot that many students call home. For bars, there is the Italian styled Mani Osteria and Bar. Another place to visit is Bar Louie, an upbeat b...

I love this area. It's also called Kerrytown - Old 4th Ward is just more specific to my block I guess? It's a quiet residential area. I live right across from city hall and down the street from the fire department so I feel very safe. I've never heard a party! It's just a short walk from the Kerrytown market and some great restaurants by it. Also a quick walk from downtown where all the good nightlife is in my opinion as well as state street where there is a CVS and Walgreens. I'm also 2 blocks from a 7-11.
Kerrytown is a traditional neighborhood full of family houses, little markets and close to the night scene. Bars and restaurants are less than a 5 minute walk and Kerrytown farmers market is famous for its fresh products.
Love living around this location. Close to restaurants, groceries, school etc. Right near the main road leading out of AA. It is expensive though to live here.
<10min to all the downtown bars/main street

1 min to skeeps

<10min walk to Ross and University Street.

15 min from the football stadium/bus
Relatively quiet street but quick walk to Kerrytown, Farmer's Market, med school/hospital, downtown
Downtown is great. Easy to get to everywhere I want to be.
Close to school, hospital, and downtown. Very safe
Absolutely love Kerrytown!! Still close to the hospital but you get the added benefit over White Coat of being close to cute kerrytown shops and farmer's market as well as having a shorter walk to general downtown Ann Arbor. I definitely will be staying in Kerrytown all 4 years of medical school!
