Great Location & Management Very Responsive

The apartment is located right in the heart of the downtown area, near all the great restaurants and cafes. It feels safe, and the management has been very responsive to all my requests. Whenever I requested to have something fixed in the apartment on the online portal, the maintenance team usually comes to fix it by the next day. The only downside is that the apartment has no elevators. Since the laundry machine is in the basement, it could mean going up and down 5 flights of stairs if you live on the fourth floor.

Hidden Gem (for a price)

Excellent location (close to downtown, away from the undergrads, near the bus station), fully furnished updated apartments, gym and free laundry in the basement plus a game room that's awesome for small parties.

Best location

Best location in Ann Arbor. Right in downtown, a block away from many famous restaurants (including Necto and Skeeps) and only 10 minutes walk from Ross. The building itself is quite old and the room feels dark. The only reason I'm willing to pay $1325 a month is because great location.

Sufficient for 2 years

Have had a good experience here for two years. Management company is making updates to the apartments (new carpets, furniture, etc) so it makes the older apartments feel more updated. CMB is responsive to emails/calls if any issues arise. Location is great - just a quick walk to downtown.

About Old Fourth Ward

Old Fourth Ward was one of the first residential areas in Ann Arbor. While keeping its old-town feel, the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood is now also a modern spot that many students call home. For bars, there is the Italian styled Mani Osteria and Bar. Another place to visit is Bar Louie, an upbeat b...

I love this area. It's also called Kerrytown - Old 4th Ward is just more specific to my block I guess? It's a quiet residential area. I live right across from city hall and down the street from the fire department so I feel very safe. I've never heard a party! It's just a short walk from the Kerrytown market and some great restaurants by it. Also a quick walk from downtown where all the good nightlife is in my opinion as well as state street where there is a CVS and Walgreens. I'm also 2 blocks from a 7-11.
Kerrytown is a traditional neighborhood full of family houses, little markets and close to the night scene. Bars and restaurants are less than a 5 minute walk and Kerrytown farmers market is famous for its fresh products.
Love living around this location. Close to restaurants, groceries, school etc. Right near the main road leading out of AA. It is expensive though to live here.
<10min to all the downtown bars/main street

1 min to skeeps

<10min walk to Ross and University Street.

15 min from the football stadium/bus
Relatively quiet street but quick walk to Kerrytown, Farmer's Market, med school/hospital, downtown
Downtown is great. Easy to get to everywhere I want to be.
Close to school, hospital, and downtown. Very safe
Absolutely love Kerrytown!! Still close to the hospital but you get the added benefit over White Coat of being close to cute kerrytown shops and farmer's market as well as having a shorter walk to general downtown Ann Arbor. I definitely will be staying in Kerrytown all 4 years of medical school!
