Beautiful apartment with lots of amenities!

I love my 1 bedroom apartment, and I got it for a great price. I have around 850 square feet, washer/dryer, nice carpet, a balcony, beautiful appliances, granite countertops, and an island. I love that the utilities besides electric are included in my rent, but the only downside is that because the building technically pays for your water, the water pressure is pretty poor. I have lived there two months and have gotten used to the shower being low pressure, but at first I was freezing every time I took a shower.

The gym is also pretty small, but they offer Spin and Yoga classes which is great. The staff is wonderful, and the whole complex is gorgeous!

The location is good in the sense that you are 10 minutes from downtown Buckhead, Midtown, Atlantic Station, and West Midtown. It is a great central location. However, it is VERY industrial outside of the complex and there are no sidewalks. I luckily have an apartment that faces inwards at the complex so I do not hear the noises from the highway, but I definitely could not live on the side of the building that faces 85!

Now What It's Cracked Up to Be

I want to like this place, but everything is stacking up against me. Noise issues almost every day of the week. It was tolerable for a couple of weeks, but I've dealt with bass that vibrates my apartment for well over a year with no recourse from the complex. There are broken security gates that are never fixed, car-break-ins that go unsolved because our security cameras don't work, and trash left in hallways. Management is absent, which is funny, because after never improving my living experience my rental cost shot $110 per month. It could be a really nice place if it were maintained and withheld to a standard. Instead its becoming overrun with drugs. The place always wreaks of cheap marijuana. The gym has been obliterated by guests without action from management. For good residents like me who mind my own business, stay quiet, and observe respectful neighborliness, this is not an ideal living situation.

Love at First Sight, Hate After the Facade Faded!

The leasing staff was excellent during my apartment search, application period, and move in... Management needs to stop changing! Crime and safety is a big issue here. Not worth the high-end rental rates that are charged. Property and interiors are poorly maintained. It's a shame because I initially really liked this place.

Review on Marquis

I love the location of this place, but the security is not up to par. For the amount we pay for luxury living they need to tighten security measures. Our apartment was broken into during the broad day light, my roommate was there and scared the intruders away. They didn't cut our rent or give anything in return for this happening. Also the gate needs to be fixed. It is never working.

PROS:
Salt Pool
Gym
Free Coffee & Snacks
Granite kitchens
Updated Appliances
Close to Sweetwater factory

Fun and Spacious

They have a great maintenance staff and leasing office support staff. The amenities are great. I have lived there for 2 years without incident. If you have a dog there are plenty of people with animals the building has a dog park for them. No Complaints

Getting around Buckhead

Buckhead Reviews

The area is very upscale. New Buckhead Atlanta deveolopmwnt with great restaurants and high end shops. Lots of renovation happening in the already great area. Plenty of bars, restaurants and music venues within walking distance.
Love being so close to so many great restaurants, gyms, grocery stores, and general green space. Only thing I don't love about Peachtree Hills is how expensive it is for the most part.
Good area, with plenty of grocery store options. Walkable during the day.
The neighborhood is really quiet but yet kid friendly. The area is safe and is not far from grocery stores. I cannot point out any cons because there isn't any.
West Midtown is a busy, up-and-coming part of Atlanta with elaborate restaurants, attractions and bars. Not to mention the convenient location! Amazing!
The neighborhood is close to lots of things. I like living close to Marta, which is convenient to my work. The con to that is that I live right next to the train, which causes some noise. I like living near Lenox Mall and Phipps Mall (the movie theater there is great!). Living near Brookhaven is also great. I love being so close to great restaurants.
It is very quiet because it is far away from Peachtree and all the other big streets. There is a little park right next to the square where you can go outside and which makes it even more quieter. It is also safe thanks to the security and the gates.
This is a very central location, just next to Peachtree Street. Shopping like Publix and Fresh Market are not too far away, there are a lot of restaurants nearby and it is still very quiet down at Bryson Square.
