One Bedroom in a Great Location

This apartment complex isn't as big as Post Briarcliff or some other ones but it's full of young working adults and it's nice to meet a few people outside of the business school. It's also in a great location - 10 minutes from Buckhead, Midtown, Decatur, etc. It's very close to an entrance on I-85 so you can get anywhere quickly plus there is a Publix right across the street so you can always walk over to pick up some groceries. We've had a few appliances break but the staff is very responsive and will fix everything within 24 hours.

Beautiful apartment in a safe and quiet neighborhood.

The apartments are beautiful and spread out on 3 floors. On the ground floor, there's a garage that has stairs leading to the main floor. The main floor has a HUGE kitchen, a nice balcony, and plenty of living space (2 huge rooms) for watching TV, reading, or eating. The second floor has 3 rooms and 2 bathrooms - two rooms are sharing a bathroom and the 3rd room (a Master Bedroom) has a separate bathroom. The apartment has a powerful AC, which comes in super handy during hot Atlanta summers. There's plenty of space for a car (all three people living in this apartment had a separate car and never had a problem finding a parking space). The house is very nice and safe, there's a small pool (never used it), a gym (small, but has all the stuff a gym needs), a pool table, and a free-of-charge printer. The main problem with this apartment is that there could be a bit more sunlight (windows are facing north and south) and that the commute to Emory will include 15 minutes of walking to the closest Emory shuttle bus station (although a MARTA bus stops right outside the apartment and takes you directly to Emory). But if you have your own car, this apartment is great. I've been very happy with it.

An apartment that feels like a home

This apartment complex is great. Each apartment has up to date appliances and very nice counter tops and fixtures to make you feel like you're in a home. The complex has 2 pools and garden areas where you can relax and grille or enjoy the sunshine. The management staff is great, addresses your needs right away especially if there is a problem in the apartment. Things are fixed very quickly. The gym is a little small but there is a 24 hour fitness gym in the complex that you can join! There is also a Publix right across the street which is very convenient for shopping. The Emory shuttle doesn't come to this complex but the MARTA 6 bus stops right in front and delivers you right in front of the business school, it's very convenient. This location is also about 10 minutes from everywhere (Buckhead, Decatur, Virginia Highlands, etc.) and is right off of 85 which makes it really easy to get downtown or up north. No regrets with picking this location!

Very spacious, great roommate environment

For 3 young professionals, this apartment worked great for us. There was a lot of spacious room. Many of the amenities were very good (nice kitchen, good parking garage); however, the ceilings and walls between many units seem very thin. We could hear our upstairs and floor neighbors very easily (tough sometimes when we were trying to sleep). Other than that, everything was great and would recommend. Location to publix/85/Tara theater a huge plus too.

Great location for a reasonable price

The Reserve at La Vista Walk is located right next to the highway but also very close to major parts of town (midtown, buckhead, piedmont park, etc.). You'd be hard pressed to find something comparable in the area for the given price though it does come with its faults.
Walls are relatively thin (I have two roommates and can hear them perfectly through the walls when speaking above a normal voice level. The complex has also recently experienced some break-ins though management has done a great job bringing on additional securities and even having APD observe the parking deck on occasion.
Overall, this has definitely been one of the nicer apartment buildings I've lived in within the perimeter.

Depends on your unit

My windows face Cheshire, right over the gas station and sketchy alley. Very noisy at night with sketchy things happening. Management also not very responsive to complaints (I submitted report of strange gas smell and was just told maintenance will be there when they get there)
