University Grove

University of Minnesota's Small Town
Within the neighborhood of Falcon Heights is University Grove. This part of the neighborhood is heavily tied with the University of Minnesota. There have been 103 houses built for professors and administrators that work at the university. The neighborhood even has its own downtown section where a grocery store, library, wine stores, and cafes are all available. A famous and favorite event near town is the Minnesota State Fair. This summer fair features games, concerts, and car shows all within a family-friendly environment. Up north of town is the HarMar Mall, a popular hangout and shopping spot for many locals.

University Grove benefits from all the eating and drinking spots in town. Socializing at restaurants and bars is a popular activity to do in University Grove. Bars that are popular for bar-hopping include Stout’s Pub and Grill, 1919 Draft Root Beer, Minnesota State Fair Craft Brewer’s Guild, and Coasters.
