Spacious Aparment with lots of light

I have really enjoyed living in this apartment. The whole building has big windows that lets it tons of light, so my living area is very well lit. It used to be the board of educations, so there are lots of art deco features in the hallways. The apartments were recently set up, so the appliances are relatively new, with nice kitchen countertops. Each floor plan is unique, and I selected one with really small windows in the bedroom which lets me keep it dark when I work night shifts.

There is a bus stop directly outside the building where the 7, 48 and 49 stop, which give you easy access to the hospital and the rest of center city. It's also very easy to walk to the trolleys on Market Street. Target, Whole Foods and Trader Joe's are all in walking distance. The building is quiet, pet friendly, has a gym in the basement, and has door security that takes care of packages.

My only complaint is that the windows are a bit drafty during the winter. I use thick curtains which are fairly effective at keeping out the wind. My utility bill went up somewhat in the winter months, but nothing unreasonable.

Spacious, sunny, wonderful view

I really love my neighborhood and the apartment. It has in unit washer/dryer, beautiful floors, a wonderful and spacious kitchen. The apartment feels very clean and the maintenance and front desk staff are really wonderful.

Great Views, High-end amenities, Best neighborhood in Philly

Luxury amenities at a reasonable price (if you are splitting the rent with a spouse). The whole building is pet friendly and they don't charge a pet fee! Gym is included. Central air, heat, washer/dryer in units and amazing views (especially if you are facing south). They also regularly offer promotions for new tenants, such as one month free.

Review of 2100 Pennsylvania

Building is nice, not so well maintained. Fire alarms go off like it's nobody's business! Staff is friendly, management...nice enough. The location is convenient but the value remains to be seen. Will definitely be ready to leave at the end of my lease.

Highly Recommend This Apartment

Amazing bang for your buck! Absolutely love our apartment - while we are several blocks away from Rittenhouse we're still in a fantastic location close to Logan Square and close enough to still walk everywhere. We save money living just a few blocks further north and have the perk of a large living space. Most residents in this apartment are also young professionals. There is a small gym with all the essentials I need and also easy access very close to the Schuylkill running trail. We are right between Trader Joes and Whole Foods - only a few blocks each way, which makes it easy for food shopping.

Primo Location, Everything Else Sucks

It's a gorgeous building in undoubtedly one of the best neighborhoods in the city. The building itself has been gorgeously restored and my apartment is roomy. The rent is raised 5% every year -- a joke -- with only yearlong leases. The management company is horrible, unresponsive, and building management turns over at least twice a year. The building has no real amenities. A tiny gym with dated equipment and not much else. With all the new buildings opening in the area they should step up their game fast to retain and attract residents.

Apartment was renovated recently and in great condition.

2100 Parkway is close to Logan Square. It's a great location for students with children. Next to Fairmount Park and several children's museums.

Loved the neighborhood. Paying for monthly parking in a nearby garage was not outrageously expensive, was close to center city for fun and errand-running, Target and Whole Foods nearby made for easy groceries when I didn’t want to leave the city. Sabrina’s Cafe is nearby, which is super delicious. BSL was about an 8 minute walk to either Spring Garden or Race-Vine, depending on if I was going north or south. Great area for walking around and getting out of your apartment.
The apartment is technically between Logan Square and Rittenhouse Square. We live right above Trader Joe's, which makes grocery shopping a breeze. We spend a lot of time walking around Rittenhouse Square and Rittenhouse neighborhood to pick up groceries, drink coffee, and generally hang out with each other and friends. The river walk is a short walk away, and the Museum District is within walking distance. Back when I was going to school regularly, the Septa trolley stop is conveniently right in front of our apartment and the 30th Street Station is a 10 minute walk away. While the amenities leave some things to be desired and we pay a premium for our location, it is a great place to live especially for newcomers to Philadelphia who want to be next to all the action.
Unless you mind the noise of cars in the street below, you will not have any issues. Given that is center city there are many people experiencing homelessness so if that is a deal breaker I recommend other neighborhoods. The upside is being 5-10 minutes distance from all the fun, restaurants, activities, nightlife, etc.. that you will ever need.
Super close to Whole Foods and Trader Joes, and I love the walk along the parkway. It's close to various museums which is great! Overall the neighborhood is pretty residential, but there are coffee shops and to-go restaurants that are easy to access.
The neighborhood is a little more commercial but only a minute away from everything wonderful in rittenhouse. But it feels very safe at all times because it’s on a major street.
It is a great location. The law school is a 15 minute walk. Most of Center City is also within a 20 minute radius. A lot of other law students live nearby.
Lots of great bars and restaurants in the area. One of the safest and nicest areas in Philly. There are generally lots of people walking around.
Close to tons of great places to eat/drink, shop, etc. Walking distance to anything in Center City/Callowhill/Art Museum areas.
