Avoid picking ground floors apt 😅
A few bugs come in every now (I’ve had a few spiders, centipedes, other unnamed bugs) and then and you need to put some special window screens at night to avoid people seeing everything you are doing (since the screens present only give you privacy during the day, but open view during the night)

But very easy access - right next to laundry - easy to get out to school if you running late (no need to run down several floors or to take the elevator) - nice and cozy otherwise
But gas cooking - so if you don’t like gas (like me), avoid going to that apt 😅

My experience has been great here. The building is close to the university, generally clean and my apartment is great. I am really happy of deciding to arrive here.

If you're looking to live alone close to school, it doesn't get better than Buswell St. It's conveniently located next to 3 T stations, St. Mary's/Beacon St and the law school. The downsides: it's super old, the rooms are small, and there's very little natural sunlight.

Good apartments. Only graduate housing which is good. All graduate students only.

If you're looking for a stereotypical New England appt, Buswell is for you. I've had rats, cockroaches, moths, beetles, and no air conditioning. But the walk to BU Campus is just over 5 minutes and parallels Beacon, making the amenities nearby amazing. I enjoy the studio space, even if it is small. Buswell is a fixer-upper but it can be fixed.

So far it has been good staying at 14 Buswell.

Its a nice and spacious apartment with most of the facilities.

Cheap housing rental (for Boston) in a great location. Can't really expect much at the price you're paying.

Great value for an amazing location. Quick 5 minute walk to the law school. It is a lifesaver not needing to rely on the Green Line to get to school. BU Property Management also provides great maintenance services!
