Location is great
There's a fantastic gym that I use frequently. It's like a hotel facility, with not only a pool but also a spa and sauna.
It's also within walking distance of the school, and there are plenty of supermarkets nearby, making it very convenient.

Overpriced and Not Worth the Amenities
The one bedroom units have absolutely no natural light. There is no overhead lighting fixtures in the bedroom and even with lamps the bedroom is incredibly dark. Rent is insanely high and yet the building maintenance is atrocious. People will park in your parking space and will not tow them as promised, so you have to park in guest parking until they leave. They will take an insane amount out of your security deposit upon move out even if you hire professionals to come in and make repairs / do a deep clean. A lot of units in the building lease out on AirBnB so you can bet on screaming children "on vacation" especially during the summer months. Walls are paper thin so you can hear everything going on in the hallways. The climbing wall in the gym is useless because in a year living there I never once saw an attendant to be able to use it. And the fire alarms go off at minimum three times a week and at least once a month it goes off in the middle of the night. 2/10 because at least you're right above Trader Joe's so you can save money on your disgustingly high rent and walk to school. Find a bigger place three blocks away for half the rent like I just did. Hope this helps.

overall good
The apartment has great location in the westwood village. It takes around 15 minutes to walk to the center of the campus. It is an unfurnished apartment but with pool and gym. Overall, it is a very comfortable and convenient living experience. However, the rent is extremely expensive.

OK apartment, nice maintenance staff
The units in the Glendon are solidly large, although a little outdated (e.g., older appliances, carpeted bedrooms). The building is mostly inhabited by undergrads, so some neighbors have parties and common spaces like the lobby and elevators could be cleaner. The pool and gym are both slightly nicer than most other buildings I've seen. The package system is a bit of a disaster and packages do go missing sometimes, but the maintenance staff is very nice and usually come quickly after a request is submitted (admittedly, things do break somewhat often). Building management, however, is pretty much completely MIA, so you won't have any luck negotiating your rent or asking for special requests. I definitely wouldn't stay in this apartment after graduation, but considering I can walk to campus it's worked well for my 2 years of school.

The Glendon
The location is the best since it's only 15 minutes walk to the campus. Also enjoying my life having a spacious room and good amenities such as gym and pool. Management company is also good - whenever I have problems, they address it pretty quickly.

Beautiful facilities and great location
This is a beautiful complex to come home to every day. The courtyards are filled with palm frees and fountains, all of which are well-maintained. The floor plans for 1-bedroom apartments have the best layout of any that we saw in Westwood. There are also lots of areas to spend time sitting outside, including a pool. The building's ownership changed hands this year, and this change has been completely positive. The new on-site management staff is open every day from 9am-6pm, and the team is extremely friendly, professional, and responsive. Perhaps the only major downside is the cost -- though this isn't surprising given that Westwood was ranked one of the most expensive neighborhoods to rent in all of the United States. (Note, however, that utilities and other services are not included in rent and run about $100-150/month.) Also, the size of the complex, which has several hundred units, means that this is a less intimate environment than would exist in a smaller building, so don't expect to get to know your neighbors.
