Close to Campus / Great for Pet owners
Positives: I moved into my apartment w/ 7 pets (3 dogs, 3 cats, and a bunny). Management knew about the dogs and the cats and had no problem. Pet deposit is per unit (not per pet) and they don't charge pet rent. There's a large grassy area w/ a BBQ grill. The apartments are relatively spacious and there are a lot of closets (at least in the 2 BR unit). The units each have a dishwasher and ceiling fan (as far as I know). Plus, it's only 10-15 minutes away from campus, close to the I-5, Capitol Hwy, and Barbur Blvd. There is one bus stop close to the complex and it's not too far from the Barbur transit station. The buildings are each two stories, upstairs units have balconies and downstairs units have patios. Not all patios are enclosed. The complex offers studios - 3 BR apartments. The complex seems really safe, I've been there for about a year and a half, the only crime that I know of was a car theft (apparently the owner had left the keys in the car).
Negatives: Lack of amenities: no pool, no gym, no washer/dryer in unit (There is a laundry room on site though. $1.25 to wash, $1.25 to dry; standard sized washers and dryers.) There is no A/C and the heating system isn't the best, but it kind of does the job.
