The below is what I value in an apartment.

Pros:
- hardwood floors
- responsive maintenance
- laundry unit on each floor, shared by 8-10 apartments
- walkable to public transit and Kerrytown
- elevator*
- a good amount of space for the rental amount compared to other rentals in the area

* the elevator is small and not 100% accessible, but did the trick for those that can walk at least some of the time

Cons:
- pet rent
- parking rent as of ~2023, even for an uncovered spot
- windows are old and not well-insulated
- landlords have hiked up rent almost year, and once threatened an increased rental rate if you didn't renew by the time you had 6 months remaining on your lease

Older building but has a lot of space. All electric, no gas and not super well insulated ( high heating bill in winter)

Love the location of this apartment– close enough to Kerrytown and Main Street (10 mins walking) for the Farmer's Market, brunch, or a night out, but far enough away from most undergrad housing that the area is quiet. It's also right around the block from the YMCA. This is definitely a quiet, adult building, which is exactly what my partner and I wanted. The price is very reasonable for the space, and the walls are thick within the apartment (i.e. I can fall asleep while my partner games in the other room). Parking is included, but sometimes the uncovered spots are all full; that said, my partner and I have never had a problem. Management is pretty good– a few minor complaints, but they are responsive and generally attentive to issues in the apartment. No central air is a bit of a bummer, as the only AC unit is in the living room (not the bedroom). That said, I would recommend this building and this management company – especially to graduate students or professionals looking to avoid late-night parties and noise. I will note that it is a solid 25-30 minute walk to central campus buildings.

Love our apartment since it’s right off a huge and beautiful park (West Park). It’s nice for my partner and I since we’re still a 5 minute walk from downtown Kerrytown, but a little removed from the medical school bubble (~10 min bike/25 min walk from the hospital). Management is great and super responsive.

My partner and I have had a very positive experience at this location and we especially love how it is right off this huge, hidden gem of a park called West Park. We like being a 10 minute walk from downtown Kerrytown, but also having some space from white coat/the med school. I’m probably a 25 minute walk from the med school/Taubman, but there are great bus routes (when it’s not COVID) that can get me there in 10 mins or I usually will just bike. Our building is clean and updated, and we are able to get a 2BR for the price of a 1BR if we were living in Kerrytown or downtown
