Quiet oasis in Beverly Hills
I chose to live on the east side of campus as opposed to the west side (Westwood, Brentwood) where most MBA students live. It is equidistant - about 4 miles from campus - from where most people live on the westside. I live on a quiet, tree-lined street with mostly older young professionals and families. The building itself is a large mansion that has been divided into 8 individual apartments. I live near West Hollywood, specifically W. 3rd, which has a plethora of trendy bars, restaurants, and coffee shops. If you are looking for a quiet neighborhood near UCLA but also near more upscale bars and restaurants than Brentwood, I'd recommend Beverly Hills.
