St George

I love my apartment at the St George. It's an older building and units vary greatly. The units are spacious with large windows. It's not a social building, a lot of the residents are older. It's quite and there is a doorman working almost 24/7. Great experience.

Amazing!

This apartment is incredibly spacious and the large windows let in a lot of light. This is a somewhat older crowd that lives here, so it is not very social, but all of my neighbors are very friendly. There is also a beautiful roof that has great views of the city and limited parking available in the garage.

Great apartment, fantastic location

I love this apartment! The apartments in this building are huge. I especially love the neighborhood. It is quiet, but close to school, restaurants, bars, and shopping! It’s perfect for dog owners because it’s a well-lit residential area and close to a giant dog park.

Very cozy

Like best: 10 minute drive to GUH or 30 minute walk. Also 20 minute walk to U st/Logan Circle. Also 20 minute walk to monuments! Good access to restaurants and close night life. Feels like living in the city. Neighborhood is quiet and safe. Long hours for front desk who are very helpful. Water/electricity included (central). Rooftop patio. Garage in the lower level where you can rent out parking spaces. Floor to ceiling windows, lots of natural light. No gym or pool, but close to public pool and many gyms.

Spacious and great value

I love the St. George. Our apt is incredibly spacious, the appliances are nice and the rooftop is awesome. I wish the floors were newer and the building itself could stand to be updated, but it's a great deal, very safe and close to lots of bars and restaurants.

Great location and security

Just blocks away from Dupont Circle and with a someone at the front desk 24/7, this condo building is nice for people of all ages. It also has a huge rooftop area with seating, a barbeque, and 360 degree views of Washington D.C. Pets up to 25 lbs are allowed in the building.

Great place, great location!

The apartments here tend to be very nice, high floor-to-ceiling windows with lots of natural light. All services are included (water, electricity, gas/A/C), except wifi. There is a reception security service that receives mail and works 12-16 hrs per day depending on the day (weekday vs weekend). I love the Dupont location, it is full of young professionals and you have easy quick access to the rest of the city.

Great building close to DuPont and Georgetown

the st George is a great building! The location is perfect, but the building is a bit older. The amenities could be upgraded. Overall location and price are the key factors for why I love living here. The roof has a gorgeous view but only one grill. Maybe a few more grills?

Expensive but perfect location

Although it pains me to pay this much in rent each much, for the location this apartment is awesome. 2 bed/2 bath and much roomier than most DC apartments. Awesome view from the roof and unbeatable location.

Dupont Circle Reviews

Great neighborhood. Very walkable, even at night I always feel safe. Usually lots of people out and about. Young community, lots of bars and some awesome restaurants. Farmers markets and outside concerts in the warm months. Easy access to foggy bottom metro (15min walk) and dupont metro (5 min walk). Lots of green space (rock creek park). Georgetown 20 min walk with great shopping. 20 min walk to AdMo with great restaurants/bars
I love the neighborhood! Perfectly situated between Dupont Circle and Foggy Bottom. Walking distance to campus, while still being separate enough to feel independent. Tons of restaurants, bars, and stores around. The neighborhood feels very safe but is quiet and residential, too.
Dupont Circle is a great area. I like that my block feels very residential, but I'm close to convenience stores, the Metro, and only a 15-20 minute walk to the law school. Sometimes I walk over to Georgetown, which is nice.
I have never felt unsafe walking home at night from campus. The area is mostly embassies and very fancy apartments and townhouses.
could not be happier. i love having a safe space away from the law school
West End is amazing! Such great restaurants and stores around!
Amazing food and restaurants all within walking distance
Hamilton House is located in the crossings of West End, Foggy Bottom, and DuPont. It is a very clean, classy area. Super incredible how you can walk down the street to old-town DC, walk down another street and its all clubs and bars of DuPont, walk the other direction and its GW, walk another direction and its DuPont circle and all the incredible food. This is an ideal location, especially being situated right in between Foggy Bottom / GW Metro stop and the DuPont Metro stop.
