I love the apartment. The rent in DC is overall just astronomical.

Gateway Georgetown Condiminiums

If you're looking for an extremely quiet, safe place close to the school this place is great. You're a mile from school, a mile from dupont circle, and like .3 miles from all the shops and restaurants that Georgetown has to offer. Same of the condo owners have garaged parking, which alleviates all the stress of bringing your car. I would say that for my wife and I, this was by far the best apartment out of the 30 we looked at. The only downside is that there are really no amenities other than the top notch management, security, and parking. If things like a pool or game room are important to you, probably not the spot for you.

Great Old Building

The building is old but, because of that, solidly built. Great location, generally peaceful.

Literally the perfect neighborhood in DC. It's right on the border of Georgetown, Dupont Circle, and Foggy Bottom. They are the best three neighborhoods in DC, and you are basically a part of all three of them in this location. It is extremely safe and quiet, but also a short walk into the busier parts of town for entertainment.

So much to do and always lively! Kind of gives you a city feel but still relaxed. Grocery stores are close and there are many shopping/dining/ bars to go to. Close to the waterfront and movie theater is two blocks away. Boat rentals is walking distance and there are great running trails!

Georgetown is a quiet, safe neighborhood with tree-lined brick sidewalks that make it look more of a southern city like Savannah than the rest of D.C.

Georgetown is a great place to live if you spend a lot of time on Georgetown's campus. The school is in walking distance and the neighborhood has a cozy feel. Great proximity to bars, restaurants, shopping. However, Georgetown is cut off from the rest of DC and it is a bit more difficult to get to/from other areas of the city.
