Pretty Good

The prices of rent are pretty good. You can get a lot more square feet here than anywhere else for a cheaper price. It's pet-friendly too. Getting to campus takes 15 min drive + walk from the garage. There are also a lot of bus stops nearby including one that will take you to campus (leaves every 30 min). It is too far from the BART station to walk there. There is a train right next to the apartments but it's not that bad at all. There is good soundproofing and you get used to it. The area is ok. There are a lot of good food options a block or two away and a park. It's right by the water too so there are nice walking paths a few min away. It is also within walking distance to Bay st. where there is a large mall and movie theatre. Most of the people who live in the complex are families with children. There is a hot tub and a grilling area that people almost never use. There is also a secure package room and a gym with free membership. The management is ok. They seem like they hate their job but are reasonable people. They have been very responsive when I needed maintenance in my apartment, however, it can take a while for communal areas to receive repairs. I think the area is safer than Berkeley but I still wouldn't walk alone at night as a woman.
