Residences at the Triangle reviews and highlights
- building is brand new
- mix of grad students, young professionals, and some families
- building is brand new and the location is amazing
Good location, below average apartment complex
The location is great because it has direct access to the bus to school and has a lot going on in the triangle itself. However the apartment had very out dated appliances, wasn't maintained well and is in the process of being refurbished which means that there was always a lot of remodeling/painting going on.

The Triangle
Overall good experience - management is pretty helpful and the location is great. It's a little on the expensive side, but they didn't increase my rent for the second year.

Triangle Apartments - Good Value
Very convenient location on 656 and 801 Bus Lines. Apartments are big and in very good condition. Units on Lamar or Guadalupe side can be a bit noisier since on main roads but not too bad. New Management as of summer 2017 - Infinity. Have done a ton of renovation work, to include a new gym. Overall, an affordable and convenient spot for a student.

Good Apartment
Overall, my experience at The Triangle has been quite satisfactory. While the unit is a little bit older than some of the brand new apartments on the East side of Austin or Downtown, you can't beat the value from a cost and safety perspective.

Fun place to live!
The Triangle is a fun place to live. It's newer, nice, perfect location. I wish the management was better, the staff turnover rate is so high I don't ever recognize anyone. Mix of grad students, young professionals and some families! There are 3 pools, which is pretty rad.

Location is Amazing!
As new residents of Austin, we decided to live at The Triangle because the building is brand new and the location is amazing. However, be wary if you don't want to live by lots college kids

Triangle State Reviews
Good but not great. This neighborhood might technically classified as Hyde Park but it is just on the outskirts. The neighborhood is walkable and access to the metrorapid bus is great. It's still not downtown and you will have to spend more money on uber or time waiting for the bus to go to Sixth Street/Rainey Street/East Sixth to go out.
Transportation:
You can take either the metrorapid bus or the city bus to campus with about a 7-10 minute ride. The bus will also take you downtown fairly quickly. Occasionally I will commute to school with my bike and leave 15 minutes before class and get there on time. (disclaimer: not something you want to do in the hotter months)
Food:
Central Market is a ten minute walk through the park behind the apartment complex. There is also a Natural Grocers that is good for picking up small items like produce that is located at 38th and Guadalupe. Further down the road there is a Randall's grocery store. There are several smaller restaurants/bars within walking distance from the apartment. There is a Starbucks across the street as well as a coffee shop on Guadualupe called La Tazza Fresca that is a good place to study.
