Great neighborhood, decent building

Historic building with renovated units. Nice rooftop views; patio/garden with grills; small but rarely crowded gym; ballroom for building events (can be rented for personal events); parking around $250/mo for a gated lot; bike parking free; first floor laundry room but most apartments have in-unit.

Quiet and Beautiful Building

I love the Chastleton. The staff is EXTREMELY friendly and efficient. The amenities are great (a roof, gym, laundry room, storage units) and many units have washers and dryers in unit. I have beautiful granite counters and stainless steel appliances. Some of the the unit layouts are a bit untraditional but the building is incredibly quiet, I've never heard my neighbors, and so safe.

Lovely Co-op well positioned to 14th St and Dupont

I've been very happy with both the location and the management of this building. No complaints.

Great neighborhood. Very walkable, even at night I always feel safe. Usually lots of people out and about. Young community, lots of bars and some awesome restaurants. Farmers markets and outside concerts in the warm months. Easy access to foggy bottom metro (15min walk) and dupont metro (5 min walk). Lots of green space (rock creek park). Georgetown 20 min walk with great shopping. 20 min walk to AdMo with great restaurants/bars

I love the neighborhood! Perfectly situated between Dupont Circle and Foggy Bottom. Walking distance to campus, while still being separate enough to feel independent. Tons of restaurants, bars, and stores around. The neighborhood feels very safe but is quiet and residential, too.

Dupont Circle is a great area. I like that my block feels very residential, but I'm close to convenience stores, the Metro, and only a 15-20 minute walk to the law school. Sometimes I walk over to Georgetown, which is nice.

I have never felt unsafe walking home at night from campus. The area is mostly embassies and very fancy apartments and townhouses.

Hamilton House is located in the crossings of West End, Foggy Bottom, and DuPont. It is a very clean, classy area. Super incredible how you can walk down the street to old-town DC, walk down another street and its all clubs and bars of DuPont, walk the other direction and its GW, walk another direction and its DuPont circle and all the incredible food. This is an ideal location, especially being situated right in between Foggy Bottom / GW Metro stop and the DuPont Metro stop.
