Great Space for Studio, Even Better Location

While there isn't much light in my studio, I have an incredible amount of space (most importantly, a HUGE closet). The apartment was renovated before I move in. The front desk staff are extremely friendly and very cautious. Someone is cleaning the lobby every morning when I wake up. There's a great rooftop and a gym that's rarely busy. They generally respond to maintenance requests within a day.

A good place to live

I am very happy with my decision to live here. The location is amazing, my apartment is comfortable, and I have had few problems. Maintenance is a little slow to respond in my experience, but after a reminder here or there, my few issues were always resolved. I really like the layout of my unit and I think given the prices in the area, it's pretty reasonable for what I am getting. glad to find a nice place that is pet-friendly. The walls are thick and it's really quiet in my unit! Apartment staff are generally friendly and helpful, and they know all the residents, making it more secure. I really appreciate the bike storage in the basement ($60 a year extra, but well worth it for security). Nice laundry room, never too busy. The elevator breaks a lot. I live on the first floor so this doesn't bother me. Probably not the best place to own a car.

Very nice Boutique Building

No-frills living but great value and particularly great location. Most of the staff is amazing and very responsive. Since it is an older building, certainly not a lot of storage but the space itself is well-maintained, and rent is very affordable for the neighborhood. Wish that there was washer/dryer in unit.

Great neighborhood. Very walkable, even at night I always feel safe. Usually lots of people out and about. Young community, lots of bars and some awesome restaurants. Farmers markets and outside concerts in the warm months. Easy access to foggy bottom metro (15min walk) and dupont metro (5 min walk). Lots of green space (rock creek park). Georgetown 20 min walk with great shopping. 20 min walk to AdMo with great restaurants/bars
I love the neighborhood! Perfectly situated between Dupont Circle and Foggy Bottom. Walking distance to campus, while still being separate enough to feel independent. Tons of restaurants, bars, and stores around. The neighborhood feels very safe but is quiet and residential, too.
Dupont Circle is a great area. I like that my block feels very residential, but I'm close to convenience stores, the Metro, and only a 15-20 minute walk to the law school. Sometimes I walk over to Georgetown, which is nice.
I have never felt unsafe walking home at night from campus. The area is mostly embassies and very fancy apartments and townhouses.
could not be happier. i love having a safe space away from the law school
West End is amazing! Such great restaurants and stores around!
Amazing food and restaurants all within walking distance
Hamilton House is located in the crossings of West End, Foggy Bottom, and DuPont. It is a very clean, classy area. Super incredible how you can walk down the street to old-town DC, walk down another street and its all clubs and bars of DuPont, walk the other direction and its GW, walk another direction and its DuPont circle and all the incredible food. This is an ideal location, especially being situated right in between Foggy Bottom / GW Metro stop and the DuPont Metro stop.
