Great spot to live

I love living at the Belvedere. Phenomenal location in Logan Circle and still very accessible to work. The management is great.

Spacious Sunlight

Great apartment building with industrial look, high ceilings, lots of light. Located in great location near Chinatown metro and lots of restaurants as well as the Smithsonian. Security and management are great and very accommodating. Neighbors are friendly.

Love the location but could be nicer

I live in an older apartment in this building - and it could not be cheaper for the location. However the kitchen is extremely small and the space is limited. Great deal though for its central location right next to logan circle and whole foods. Can't

Great location!

The building is from the 1940s, but the apartment has been renovated so the appliances are all new. It's a great location with easy access to all the metro lines, Dupont Circle and the Mall. It's a little pricey, but all the utilities are included. The building has bike storage, laundry, and a gym in the basement. It's a great location with easy access to all parts of the city, especially with a bike. There isn't any parking, however. The maintenance staff is great and responds quickly to any requests. The front office is also very helpful. There isn't any common space, but it's very close to many cafes. Overall, it's a decent size and location for downtown.

Belvedere

Super cute building with high ceilings and all utilities included. Interesting floorplans, with very large bedrooms. I wish there was a 24hr front desk, but alas. The kitchens are quite small, but the location for the price cannot be beat! Hardwood floors.

Nice Place

This is a nice building, good location, decent amenities - a little outdated but not too bad. You pay for what you get. Overall pretty satisfied with the management company and what I get.
Negative i wish that they would upgrade the appliances in the units.

The Belvedere is THE apartment bldg in Logan Circle!

The Belvedere is fantastic and by far my favorite apartment buildings in the 10 years I have lived in DC. It's proximity to Logan Circle makes it's location ideal. It is within a 15 minute walk from everything in DC. Nancy and Bernstein Management are fantastic! In fact, my husband and I moved out of the Belvedere to 450K Apartments about three months ago only to desperately miss the Belvedere as soon as we left. 450K was an absolute nightmare! From structural issues in our apartment, to incompetent management, it was a disaster. It did make me appreciate the Belvedere that much more. I won't be moving from the Belvedere any time soon!

Great value for the heart of DC

Rent-controlled, great location in the heart of DC and a wonderful management team - what more can you ask for? The apartments are a little old, sure, but it's rent-controlled so I won't complain. A great deal if you are looking for no-frills living in a great location in the city. Kudos to the team of three staff that keeps this building running.

Love this area, right near Logan Circle and 14th street which has so much good food and nightlife!
Amazing neighborhood. Close to GW and close to so much good food and nice restaurants.
Sometimes noisy, but the front desk quickly deal with it if you ask
Great, Safe neighborhood with great food and close to campus.
Foggy Bottom/West End are great for 1Ls -- you will get to know the area around school and you will be conveniently within a few blocks of GW. There are a lot of food options, but night life is lacking (though you're a short walk to DuPont and Georgetown). There are plenty of busses and metros around.
Good only in the sense that it is near the school, that you can receive warnings from the school and D.C. (if signing up), that you can be assured of safety generally even if coming in late due to pulling off night studies in the library. However, noise levels are high, so you can hardly study indoors at home because of people wanting to earn money in exchange for their loud and terrible performances. This means that you may ultimately end up outside for work or rest during morning/afternoon. Noise in the evening can be high too due to some people having gone drunk. Noise (some loud trucks and mostly machine sounds) and lights can be too much for sleeping deeply.
It's really only convenient because of how close the law school is. Otherwise, I would not live here. Definitely a business/corporate area that shuts down on the weekends. Not a lot of options for going out to eat unless it's either overpriced or fast food. The only grocery store that's walking distance is Whole Foods, which I personally hate shopping at.
The Aston is the furthest GW housing from the campus, so we had to walk more than any other student to get to class. We are also the furthest away from any Metro station, but still not considerably far when you look at the big picture. There are grocery stores, bars, and restaurants nearby which is a perk, but it is pretty noisy around here. But I guess that's anywhere in Downtown DC. There are always cars honking, ambulance sirens, etc. But the area seems pretty safe.
