Love it
The outdoor space is beautiful. There's a pool, meditation pond, picnic tables, a giant chess set, shuffle board. Lots of green space. The apartment is a good amount of space for one person. Everyone in the building is very friendly. And it's close to downtown!

Keeps you from getting sucked into the Duke bubble
Love the place, actually, even if it isn't a brand new super-funky/stylish loft-style apartment. It's serviceable, nice enough, close enough to Fuqua to bike without too much trouble, and yet outside the Duke bubble. I'm close to Geer St's bars and to downtown, and it ensures I have a sense of what Durham is like outside of school.
Best of all, it's furnished. Ideal for those of us in a 10 month program who don't want the hassle of moving/buying furniture in July just to do it again in a hot minute in May. Strongly recommended for those reasons.
