Great place to live if you are a USC Student. Campus is 10 minutes away. The only downside is that living near USC can be quite dangerous. The walls in the apt too were quite thin and you can hear your upstairs/downstairs neighbor walking around.

It’s a great apartment and nice place to live! I do wish there was AC within the bedrooms.

Solid school provided student housing. All basic needs met. Very reasonable rent for the area and walking distance from village and school area. Management is responsive to maintenance requests.

The walls are incredibly thin. I can hear my upstairs neighbor constantly and am often disturbed by intense thudding. There is also a lot of street noise. I would not recommend. Not a good place to live.

Only good thing might be its location.

BEST 1L Housing Option

So close to USC! 20 minute walk to the law school. Area feels safe and has many students around.

Requires modernization, appliances are outdated and much of the apartment requires updating

1) every room in the apartment is its own climate. The room will be unbearably hot unless you turn the AC all the way up. They the bedrooms will be habitable, but the common area will be freezing.
2) It's fragile. Things break and are broken like kitchen drawers, cracks in the shower, furniture veneers. Important things will be fixed, but its a bit like walking on eggshells.
3) Safe enough area (for USC)

Careful if you get the corner room you’ll have two windows (not well soundproofed) facing satellite houses where undergrads will be loud
