Excellent Apartments
Jardine Apartments are very student-friendly! From the spacious floorplans to the quick maintenance people, I recommend this to anyone moving to Manhattan and Kansas State University. The move-in process was a little hectic with the paperwork, but it was completed quickly. Absolutely no complaints!

Jardine
The biggest problem is cleaning common spaces mainly street, laundry, and stairs. I have been living in this complex for three years. Despite my frequent requests to clean the spaces, they have never done that. The stairs are full of insects, dust, and cobweb creating a good space for wild animals to pee. There were times that the trash cans did not get emptied for 5 days.
However, they are pretty fast in maintenence and very concerned about safety of the buildings.

Great Apartment
It’s very good. The maintenance is great & community is commutable.

Good one!
It's not compulsory to have credit score to rent a house as a new comer however, you need to book an apartment very early to be able to reside here. Housing and maintenance is great but is bit costly than off-campus apartments.

Jardine Studio Likes and Dislikes
Likes: A nice, cozy space to live by myself. I'm right next to the rec complex, ICE Center, and Bill Snyder Family Stadium which is great! The ATA bus stops right outside my complex for easy access to KSU campus (free transit for students, faculty, staff). Rent includes Wi-Fi, garbage, and water utilities. Studio entryway door needs a key-card access and code which makes me feel safe. Maintenance is responsive within 24 hours (usually faster) to requests. Can "rent" (free) vacuum and other tools from Jardine office which is awesome.
Dislikes: Need to pay an extra $198 for parking pass for the year (which this was included in the rent price).
Evergy bill is average of $80 which seems like a lot for one person in a studio apartment (I have a 2 bed 1 bath in Denver and the bill per month is the same with 3 people living there...)
LOTS of spiders... (I kill about 6 per week, max one day was 5).
Water for shower is luke-warm no matter what time of day; had maintenance come to look at it and issue wasn't resolved.
Random fire drills that I was not aware of; was woken up by my fire alarm going off at 10:30PM (was not happy when I called maintenance and they said it was a drill).

Building F
It is a great apartment. The kitchen is the best. We have gas and and lots of space for storing food. The only problem is pest. During summer, lots of flies come in the apartment.

It's good.
I had to furnish it which took 2 weeks after I ordered the furniture and paid the installation fee. Otherwise rent is affordable compared to other places I've lived. I have a student meal plan so I don't use the kitchen much. Monthly indoor inspections happen at 8am which is a little bit annoying, but nothing you can't manage. Bathroom is small and lacks counter space. I bought suction cup toothpaste holder, toothbrush holder, and shower locker for shower head to store toiletries. I have dresser outside of bathroom where I leave extra toiletries. Bedroom is a comfortable size for my twin sized bed and living room is large enough to have guests over for dinner if you'd like.
