Does the Job

It is not the most "cool" place to live but is very convenient for an Emory student that has never been in Atlanta before and specially if you at not thinking on buying a car. It one of the most affordable building you will find and you do not have to buy furnisher.
The apartment was good, it came furnished and the size of the bedroom was good. It is a place full of graduate Emory students, specially in healthcare related programs. We had an Emory shuttle stop in front of the building. It was 30 minutes walking distance to the university. It is 15 minutes drive away from the belt line and from Buckhead, so not far from social life.

Decent for the price

You get what you pay for. Close to campus. Doesn't have the latest amenities, but it is a cheaper option. Management is easy to deal with.

Convenient, Good price, but not the nicer place

Is an overall good complex of apartments, because it is close to school and the shuttle stops just in front of it, however is not the best place for social life. It is also the best price you can get. The apartment those the job but has nothing special, you can tell it is a little old. So if your looking for a convenient and good price place and don't care for it to be a nice modern place where people would go for social gatherings, it works.

2 seconds from Kroger and a shuttle to class but

Management can be slow to respond and tend to do the bare minimum when it comes to maintenance. I had water damage in my apartment due to issues with the unit above me and it took *three* tries to get them to check it out.

Convenient but Not Great

The surrounding area is pretty busy roads so not that nice of a neighborhood for running/walking, but conveniently close to campus/the Emory shuttle comes to the apartment directly; the building and interiors are decent but not that well-lit; the place comes furnished, with combined internet, etc. in the bill, plus in-unit washer/dryer, all of which is helpful. Overall convenient for first-year living, not great for longer-term stays.

Mediocre living experience at Campus Crossings

The best thing about campus crossings is its not very expensive compared to the other locations where most MBA students live. The living space in my 2 bedroom apartment is somewhat spacious and includes a private bathroom and washer/dryer. Internet, water, and heat are all included in the rent. There is a Kroger next door and its only a short drive to campus and Old Fourth Ward/Inman Park area. There is a swimming pool which I have yet to use and a very, very small gym that's basically 3 treadmills and rack of free weights. The apartment complex is not very clean and the smell of garbage can sometimes permeate throughout the halls. The overhead lights are also atrocious, so definitely buy lots of lamps if you plan on moving in.

Smart choice

Grocery store and emory shuttle is very close to appt. Rooms are nice and clean. All the furnitire is included in price. All utilities (exept for electrisity) is included in price. Electrisity fee ranges 30-50$ month. Most of emory mba students leave in post (other residence) so of you are looking for fun and more comunication with class this is not good place to stay, however if you want a peace of mind this is good choice. Halls are bit durty and smells bad because of trash rooms on the floors but rooms are nice and clean.

Mr

The system of paying the rent is fine, I could pay online. However, if there is a time of overdue, the system will punish you by $35/day of fining. If you overdue or not paying the rent twice. the online paying method will shut down for you for two years.

Campus Crossings

Overall good, it is more of a student residence so you get a "college feel".
The best thing about the apartment is its convenience because it is furnished, it is located in the shuttle route and is next to the supermarket.

Getting around North Druid Hills

North Druid Hills Reviews

150 reviews
It's a prime location for getting around the city! I can get to midtown, Decatur, inman park, etc. in about a 20 min drive or less. The drive to school each morning is about 10-15 mins with little to no traffic. The area is safe with tons of restaurants and shopping. The only downside is that it's not close to any prime nightlife scene, but Ubers aren't too expensive. Incredibly safe which is something I was looking for as a woman living alone. There's no perfect place, but for the amount of space I have (850 sq ft), safety, proximity to school, and easy access to other areas in the city, it can't be beat.
North Druid Hills is a lovely neighborhood and one that I am happy to be living in as my first exposure to Atlanta. There are beautiful tree lined streets and its proximity to Emory is a great selling point.
Beautiful houses and trees, calm, quiet community.
It's an open area with trees. Very close to Emory campus as well as the Toco Hills plaza (Kroger, Publix, many restaurants). Further down Clairmont at the intersection with North Decatur road, there's another Publix as well as some other restaurants in the plaza.

Golden Drop Cafe--which has outdoor seating incase the pandemic is still uncontrolled when you read this--is just 3 min. down the road. Mason Mill Park, which has tennis courts, a pavillion, and walking trails, is also very near.
Very convenient location as far being somewhat close to a lot of different areas though it itself isn't where the night life or all the best restaurant areas are. Lots of grocery options very close by, including Whole Foods, Krogers and Publix.
My wife and I love walking through the beautiful homes in the local neighborhood. It is a very safe area even at night.
You can find any type of store or restaurant that you would ever need within a 5-15 minute drive.
My wife and I go on walks around sunset most nights through the neighborhood. Have never felt unsafe. Neighbors are all very friendly along our walks. Lots of beautiful homes to gawk at.
