Great Place, Quiet
This is a cute little complex only about a 7-min drive from west campus. It’s quiet and close to grocery stores. The property is well maintained.

Great storage for the price
It's been good. Great community of other families with young kids. In terms of space per dollar, it's unbeatable in Durham. There's also an entire attic of storage space in each room. My only complaint is with the heating in the winter. Because it's 3 floors the heat rises to the top floor in the winter. We bought a space heater for the 1st floor as a result. Love how close it is to campus. It's a quick bus ride away.

Great for families.
The apartment almost 1,600 square feet and the rent is only $1,115 per month. It isn't anything fancy, but it works. Management is pretty timely and receptive. The location is relatively close to campus and right by a bus stop if you need/want public transportation. There is a ton of storage and lots of kids in the area. The area isn't necessarily the safest (several neighbors have been broken into), but that is somewhat going to be the case for any property in the area. There aren't any amenities (e.g. club house, pool, etc.), but that makes the rent cheaper.
