New Morningside Apartments

I picked the New Morningside Apartments because I thought the location was very convenient and the price was affordable, especially for a one-bedroom apartment. Parking is free, and I’ve never had issues getting a spot. While I like the older style of the apartment, because these apartments are older, I’ve noticed a number of maintenance issues including thermostat/AC issues, leaky faucets, flooring coming up at the edges, and small gaps in the doorframes and under the windows, which has resulted in bugs entering the apartment from outside (note: landlord does not cover pest control). Maintenance’s responsiveness seems to vary as well. Overall, it’s a cute little apartment and a good option if it’s your first time living alone and you’re on a budget, but I wish I’d lived somewhere that was more recently renovated.
