Love the apartment

I love my apartment layout, the neutral color scheme, appliances are brand new, the building itself is brand new, and it's a convenient 9 minute drive to campus. My only qualm is that in order to have a tub, non-carpeted living room, and balcony, I had to be in a bottom-floor courtyard-facing unit, which is fine except it doesn't get much sunlight which makes it hard to raise healthy plants. Nice rooftop pool but the guest rules are strict and it is closed at night, mediocre apartment gym.

Great but expensive

I love this apartment building. It is nice and new. They have good community events that people go to. The management is super friendly and helpful. The amenities are pretty nice. The gym does not have the most equipment if you like heavy lifting, but it has nice basics. The rooftop pool has a great view. It is very quiet and full of respectful tenants. The electronic locks are super convenient for me so I don't have to take keys with me. There is a community wifi for everyone where everyone has a unique password. In my experience, it does not work consistently. It feels very safe and secure, and they keep it very clean. It is also located in a nice area in between downtown Durham and downtown Chapel Hill. It is very close to a lot of restaurants and grocery stores. The only downside for me is the fairly high cost, which is maybe comparable to other nice apartments in the area.

Great Place, Expensive

This is a luxury apartment complex so you definitely pay for what you get. The rent is on the high end but with that comes reliable maintenance, great amenities, and nice in-home technology (washer and dryer texts you when it's ready, smart-thermostats, high end appliances). Getting your pet registered as an ESA can remove a lot of fees as well!

- parking garage is quite narrow and many residents drive very fast, making accidents prone to occur
- clean new apartment, well maintained
- lovely amenities
- good location close to many stores
- lots of sunlight and beautiful view
- affordable

Nice value and good location

Pretty nice staff, new building but some of the stuff is kind of cheaply built. Everything is super clean though and amenities are really nice. Parking is currently free in a secure structure which is super nice. It's a little further away from Duke but really close to Chapel Hill which is honestly a better area for shopping and food than most apts that students live in near Duke. If you're ok with driving 10 min to get to Duke, definitely worth bc it's cheaper than pretty much all same range apts near Duke or downtown Durham.
