Camden Travis

Practical location, close to the metro rail that goes to Campus. The area is noisy during weekends nights. Camden does an average job of keeping the community clean and fixing amenities.

Midtown Reviews

On the edge of midtown so great access to restaurants and main streets without the noise of the bars in the center of midtown. Also brand new Whole Foods across the street. The people who use street parking, though, make getting out onto the big street a little annoying.
Great place to live that’s close enough to school. Stop affordable overall if you have a roommate despite being next door to downtown
Amazing neighborhood, only downside is the homeless population arround it is increasing.
Being in Midtown was really great before Covid. I would definitely recommend living in Midtown if classes are in person since you are only a 5 min drive to campus and the bars are close by, making it a little easier to have a social life in law school. However, living in Midtown mid-pandemic is very different and the conveniences of being close to school are no longer relevant. I do like that it is a young neighborhood where most people are young professionals.
Gentrified about 15 years ago, Midtown is rapidly becoming a favorite for urban-oriented young and mid-career professionals who seek a balance between a walkable community and easy access to lots of entertainment options.
The neighborhood is a great location as it is close to a lot of bars and shops, but there is quite a bit of crime.
Lots of bars and restaurants, lots of store close by, little crime as long as you aren’t on the border of downtown and Midtown.
Midtown is great. Lots of people. Can get a little sketchy but i think every where in Houston can.
