Management is not good

The apartment itself is good, but the management is really bad. Does not have amenities such as pool, gym or doorman.

Reasonable Option

This apartment is very close to a GUTS shuttle stop (note the Wisconsin Route has limited hours!). Apartment is nice enough, with some dining and stores nearby. There is a lounge area and patio, but no gym unfortunately. Management was pretty responsive. There is also limited garage parking for a fee. In general Glover Park, is convenient for campus but relatively far from the main hot spots in the city, and similarly to Georgetown proper there is no metro stop in the immediate vicinity. So be prepared to shuttle, Uber, drive etc. to get to the popular city areas.

Decent Apartment with Responsive Management

Conveniently located near Georgetown and the GUTS Wisconsin shuttle. Management is responsive. Quality vs Rent is not great and apartment units are not noise proof

Needs more amenities

Firstly, this is the only apartment building I've lived in that I would consider staying at for a long period of time. The design, the management, et al are great.

My biggest peeve is that the courtyard cannot have dogs. For a dog friendly apartment that is ridiculous. We have a beautiful rooftop and courtyard, neither of which the dogs are allowed on. Rooftop, I get it, but the courtyard is needed to let the dogs out, no Baja Men pun intended. The building being located on Wisconsin Ave and backing up into the security enforced area of Observatory Circle makes grassy areas for the dogs scarce.

Other than that, the building is great.

Pricey, but very safe, clean and awesome location!

This is a great building. It is very safe and always clean. Since it is brand new we have not any issues. There is parking below for an extra cost, but it is underground and safe. The price is high, but you can't beat the location. There is no where closer to downtown Glover Park. The Whole Foods is right next door, along with a WSC, and tons of food options!

Glover Park Reviews

58 reviews
The neighborhood is very quiet and seems to be family-oriented. There are always people out on a walk. Everything seems to be very safe.
The only downside is poor public transportation access. There are no metro stops nearby. There is one bus (D2) right outside, which goes to Dupont Circle. Buses like 30, 31, and 33 are also accessible by a short walk. Not bad overall, but can make commutes somewhat long.
I love Glover Park. It is much more neighborhood than city. Wisconsin Ave has a good selection of restaurants and shops in walking distance. It's about a mile downhill to Georgetown University. Coming home, that mile is uphill! Decent bus service, no metro service at all. Uber has it covered very well.
Glover Park is an extremely safe area. It has tons of food options along with basically anything else you could need. The downside is it is not near any public transportation and the cost of living is veru high. It is extremely popular for young adults to move their after college graudation. Definitely a young, fun enviroment.
Glover Park feels like a small town in a big city. Full of quiet side streets that are great for walking/running. I feel very safe riding my bike to campus, to DuPont, to Georgetown, etc. It's a mix of students and young families, so I feel very safe.
Excellent neighborhood, quiet and close to short trail walks that take you directly into nature. Although there is no metro, there is a well-connected bus system. Trader Joe's and Safeway are both not too far and school is a good walk.
Safe area, walking distance to necessities, not a lot of noise, mix of young professionals right out of college and young families, decent amount of restaurants
Cozy suburb within DC. Lots of young families so neighbors are nice. Nice restaurants in the area, but not a very lively nightlife per se.
Easy access to whole foods, fast casual restaurants, good bar scene (Town Hall, Mad Fox, Bread Soda), Monday night trivia at Bread Soda!
