Pretty decent

It’s pretty decent, I only have minor complaints about smell and some noise.

Very good apartment

The apartment is very safe and the residents are mostly doctors and nurses that work at the hospital down the street. There is onsite maintenance . The apartments are already furnished with a bed, sofa and study table. You have your own washer and dryer.
The 401 loft only offers yearly leases from Jan-Dec. If you sign a lease for a year it automatically renews for another year if you don’t give management notice that you are leaving. after the first year the lease does not renew.
The walk to the law school is 15 minutes. However, during the winter your best option is to take the bus and connect to the Roo Express. The bus stop is literally outside the apartment and you take the bus to the bus station, which is 2 minutes away and connect to the Roo Express. Once in the Roo Express it takes 8 minutes to get to the law school.
The Roo Express is a purple bus and it drops you off right at the door step of the law school. All the buses in Akron are free if you use your UA student card.
There is another apartment building call the Fir Towers which is much closer to the university. You can also get the Roo Express at that building. The rent is cheaper $700-$800 but the rooms are not furnished. The only utility covered by your rent is high speed internet. The Fir Towers has short leases usually 3-6 months. So if you are graduating in May the following year and your lease with 401 Loft ends in December the current year you can move to the Fir Towers instead of signing another yearly lease for an apartment you may not live in.
Or if there are no available apartments at 401 when you start school and you desperately need a place to stay until you can make be in, The Fir Towers is a good option due to its short lease options.
There are also Air Bnb’s close by. You can connect to the Roo Connect from these houses.

Apartment Review-401 Lofts

The 401 lofts is a great apartment complex. It has a lot of amenities and has quiet hours during the day so I am able to study without much distraction. It is definitely worth the price.
