Don't Move Here
Overall, I love the privacy. Nobody really bothers me. The rooms are big enough for me and all my stuff. But that's about where it ends.
I've lived here for 2 years (switched to a cheaper room after the 1st year) and have seen COUNTLESS property managers come and go. When I was in the process of switching my lease to the new room, they originally gave me the wrong room number, an incorrect pro-rated rent for my old room, and refused to return my $500 security deposit, due to them hiring a cleaning crew (I cleaned it myself prior to moving, and there isn't a single cleaning crew in Nashville who charges $500 for a 1 bedroom apartment). The only person who was willing and able to help me, was the secretary! She's great. The rest of the office/management staff needs to be fired!
On top of the hassle of moving out, the fire alarms were going off daily, usually late at night, for about 3 weeks straight. It's been a while, but it does still happen every now and then. Also, the P1 garage gate has been broken ever since I moved in, and only recently got repaired, but was damaged within 3 days! Multiple cars have been broken into as a result. When you ask management for assistance, they say they are not liable for any damage done to your car while on the property. But rest assured, they WILL charge you a security fee in your monthly rent, that doesn't seem to be going towards any security for the building, only to line the pockets of their attorneys, whom they will send after you if you miss a rent payment or question their shady practices. To make things worse, the elevator is SLOW, and will randomly stop on several floors before actually going to where you need to be, the water pressure is VERY low, and multiple rooms are being used as air b&b's, which is adding to security concerns and over-congestion in the already small, crowded, tightly packed parking garages. The gym is a joke as well. The cable machine is probably 20 years old and will fall apart at any given moment, the cardio equipment doesn't work, only a leg press machine made for a toddler, no back or chest equipment. If you live on the 2nd floor, it smells like sewage. You will also be woken up very early in the morning everyday in the summer when everybody is at the pool BLASTING music and screaming. If you live on any other floor, you will be dealing with loud, obnoxious college students yelling and stomping CONSTANTLY.
Unless you want your car broken into, scratched up, your time wasted waiting 15 minutes for the elevator, or pay extra fees for no reason, I would NOT move here.

OK
Not the best!

Great for the Price!
Pros: 10 minute walk from the law school, less per square foot than other apartments in the area, very spacious, nice appliances, pool, lots of restaurants/shops around
Cons: small/limited gym, maintenance is not very responsive, some fruit flies, parking garage spaces are very tight and gate is usually broken

Not well maintained
The apartment is nice enough, but the common spaces are not maintained, the pool has issues with the chlorine so that it is often not swimmable, and the gym equipment is not clean and sometimes broken (i.e. treadmill not working).
Currently, the fire alarm system is faulty, so it has gone off for no reason and woken up all the residents on multiple weekends. One time, the alarm was going off for six hours and the management could not silence it.
I like that the building is in a quiet area, and the apartment is nice and in good condition, aside from the flooring which is often poorly laid and comes loose.

Quiet and close walk to school
Artemis has been a great apartment for the past year! It’s about a 10 min walk to the law school and is quiet and pretty spacious.

Friendly Neighbors, Good Location and Amenities
This apartment is the perfect small/medium-size where you get to know your neighbors, but still meet someone new constantly. Great location near downtown, midtown, campus, and Elliston St. Unfortunately, with a smaller complex, it is sold fairly frequently to different property management companies which can be a pain to constantly change portals and policies.

Would not recommend
There is only one elevator in this building, and it is constantly broken. When it is up and running, it is slow and overcrowded. The staff is often non-existent, so don't expect anyone to answer your calls or emails, or be there for when you show up to tour the building. Many units have a combination washer-dryer which is small and not great quality.

Artemis Midtown
Relatively inexpensive compared to a lot of what’s in the area. Nice pool and communal spaces

Horrible experience living here
I can't say enough bad things about this apartment complex. The parking garage gets frequent, break-ins, homeless people break in when doors were left unlocked, packages are stolen weekly, and the property management could care less. The management here is the worst I've ever seen, very rude, passive aggressive, and genuinely do not care at all about the residence or complex. I lived here for less than a year, and I'm so glad to be moving out.

Solid place
A great place to live. My unit has lots of space & decent fixtures. Big balcony. Good location that's safe & quiet. Pretty quiet neighbors - mostly grad students & young professionals. Bad gym but serves its purpose when needed. Super close to Centennial Park which I love & walking distance to school through campus!
