Affordable Housing Option 10 minutes from Vanderbilt

Would recommend staying here. Great amenities, spacious layouts, affordable rent if living with a roommate, has a nice pool, and is gated! The area around the complex is not walkable and not the safest. It is about a 10-minute drive to Vanderbilt's campus but is worth it for the price of the complex.

Great place!

I like living at the summit. It’s about 15 minutes away from campus, but during rush hour, it can range from 20-30 minutes. The area feels safe, and it’s near many grocery stores and food places. They are good at maintaining the building and fixing any issues that may arise in the apartment.

Good value if you don't mind commute

Apartments are spacious and modern, maintenance is quick to respond to issues, and the complex manager lives in the complex, so they are aware of what is going on. My wife and I chose this place specifically because it is in a suburb with little crime and few transients around. The rate is much cheaper than what something like this would cost closer to campus and the commute isn't bad (about 15 minutes most days unless they are doing construction on the highway). We also haven't had issues with loud parties etc. because it is mostly profession people/students who live here. The main downside is that a fair number of people own dogs, and while most pick up after them, there are a few who don't which is extremely annoying. The management threatens to fine people who don't pick up after the dogs, but I'm not sure how this is enforced.

Great place, but they’re increasing rent.

They are renting units at $2200 for a 2 bedroom right now and it’s not worth that. There are other apartments in the area that are nicer and cost less such as Cortland at West Nashville.

Beautiful apartment

It has been good. Maintenance is quick to respond to requests. However the office staff can be slow to respond at times. We are looking to move closer to campus because our rent is increasing by a good amount after our lease is up.

You pay for what you get

It’s good for what we pay but it isn’t extremely nice. Parking is sometimes hard to come by and it’s kind of loud because it’s right off the interstate.

The summit

It is a younger crowd of residents and young couples/families. I love The pool and gym. Sometimes neighbors are loud. Maintenance is great, management sometimes doesn’t respond

Affordable and large closets

I haven’t had any problems with living here. It’s about 10-15 minutes to anything downtown and gives you a nice excuse to get away from the business. There is lots of parking. A nice pool and dog park. Small gym but they do have a gym. Located near target, grocery stores, etc. Gives you a cheaper option to live in an already expensive city and larger rooms and closets than you may find in the city. My only downfall is not being able to just walk from my to everywhere downtown. It is also gated.
