Prime Time for Wharton Couples w/ Pets and No Kids
Riverloft is super convenient. With respect to Wharton, it is right across the street from 2401, the closest Center City building to campus (easily 5 to 7 minute walk shorter than most apartments), hosts many Wharton students, has great spaces to host team meetings (2 conference rooms plus another study area), and is a 2 minute walk to Bonners and Pub. The layouts are large and loft style and mostly one bedroom, so ideal for a couple that needs more space. Closest space can be tricky from unit to unit, but nothing a temporary solution from container store couldn't solve. The building is extremely pet friendly... I'd estimate 60 to 70% of the people on my floor have a dog. The building is a 5 minute walk from the Schuykill Dog Park which is an amazing dog park. Parking in the building is also very convenient but expensive. More generally, proximity to center city restaurants is still pretty strong, but definitely requires a marginally longer walk than some other buildings. The price is a little expensive if you're a single student and the larger 3BR units don't drop off around $500 / person if split evenly. Management is extremely accommodating they treat you like an actual customer, attend to things right away and remember your tame. They are responsive to requests, for example, they installed a desk in my apartment for free. The units themselves are modernized and new generally, however, designed frugally. Still quality (e.g. Stainless steel kitchen appliances) and very very clean, but just not super high end. The building's value comes from its space of the units, location (proximity to Schuylkill, right on the bike-dedicated lane on walnut), pet-friendly, and attentiveness of management. Those looking for chic, top tier gym (in building is very limited, but proximity to Sweat (~$50 / month) is helpful), a pool (it is in another building) owned by property and no in Riverloft actual goes), won't be as satisfied.
A few issues with the building and price tag (parking =$250 and rent is $2200 for single BR; split two ways b/t a couple it isn't terrible) and utilities are a little expensive (individually metered but high ceilings). We have access to DirectTV or Comcast, Verizon FIOS is a watered down version of the more broadly known service (no TV, slower WiFi). Lastly, closest space isn't amazing if you don't have the right unit.

Great units, great location
Very happy here. I feel like I get a lot of bang for my buck in terms of space. The location is also a great balance between being near Rittenhouse and other students and having ease of access to campus (i.e. on Walnut, just before the river, etc.)

Highly recommend
I had a one bedroom loft, the arch model. I lived in the building for 3 years until recently buying a house near by. The lobby was just remodeled as well as the gym. Great location if you have a dog since the dog park is near by. Very nice modern apartments great size. Good managment company and great front desk employees.

Riverloft is a wonderful place to live
Wonderful building, safe, pet friendly, perfectly positioned between center city and school, right next to schuylkill trail and dog park, friendly management, smaller building with fewer apartments, fellow medical students, young professionals and professional students, no undergraduates allowed, incredibly high ceilings

Great apartment for a price
Riverloft provides loft-style apartments that are extremely spacious and comfortable to live in. The ceilings are very high and there is good natural light. The building also provides a study room, conference room, event room, and fitness center (basic machines, some free weights). The building is clean and kept in good condition, and there is a 24-hr concierge at the front. I have not had too many experiences with management other than the initial lease and move-in, which went smoothly. There is parking available (i think $150/mo), and a great feature is free guest parking (they have 4 spaces available to reserve), which is very convenient if you have anyone visiting. The building is generally quiet (though this may depend on your particular room location) and is home to many grad students (especially Wharton). The comforts of this building do come at a price, with rent and utilities averaging about $2400/mo for a 1-bedroom, so it is probably best suited to couples who can split the cost. The building is also pet-friendly.

Comfortable, Couple-Friendly Building
Riverloft is a great building for young couples, with spacious lofts that make living very comfortable. We love the location because it is equal distance between campus in one direction and Rittenhouse Square in the other direction! It is also a stone's throw from Wharton hangouts like The Armory and 2401 Walnut, along with being an 8 min walk from a Trader Joe's grocery store. The gym in the building is good for basic workouts, and there is also a Sweat Fitness next door if you are looking for a more robust workout space with more equipment. Overall, we are very happy and feel very safe here.

Great apartment!
Love the Riverloft! Great amenities, loft style units (high ceilings, spacious units), in a great location. Really close to the Schuylkill running trail which I love.

Great Apartment
Great size and high ceilings so it feels even bigger. The doormen are great, friendly, helpful, and keep people who don't live here downstairs until it's confirmed that they can come up. It gets annoying with food delivery because we have to go pick it up at the lobby, but it's a small price to pay for a feeling of safety. Great for couples but a bit pricey for singles.

Fitler Square Reviews
That being said I did notice that most students lived on the side of the school!
There are residents without housing in the neighborhood. They're good people and new residents should be respectful of them and their belongings.
Cons: Trader Joe's is the only real grocery store here and may have limited selection for those looking for a supermarket; not as quiet or "neighborhood-y" as other areas, as it is in the heart of downtown; there is a freight train that runs along the river that can be loud, though I got used to it quickly
