Woodbury Gardens reviews and highlights
- best combination of price, amenities, and location
- great neighborhood
- lots of green space, which is great for walking dogs
- serene and removed from noise
- clean and the maintenance team is very responsive
Great to live in community!
Great for those who wants to meet other people. You can easily build a community of friends. Convenient ammenities such as a couple of playgrounds for kids, clubhouse with business center, gym and game room. Nice pool during the summer! Beneficial location: close to central campus but far away from the noise of downtown. During the school year they provide a shuttle that runs several times a day from the clubhouse to central campus.

Woodbury is best bang for your buck by far
I have three times the space for the same price, or less, than friends living at 618 or the Yard. I pay very little for covered parking ($25/mo) and Woodbury has great amenities (free shuttle to Ross, free breakfast during the week, pool, gym with Peletons, etc. Getting to campus requires some coordination and planning between taking the Woodbury shuttles, two public bus routes running nearby, and driving, but it is a minor hassle for the incredible value that Woodbury provides.

Woodbury is Amazing
I'm in a 3 bed 2.5 bath townhouse. It is listed as 1460 square feet but has a fully finished basement which really brings it closer to 2000 square feet. The pet fee is $30/month, and trash and water will be close to $110-$120 per month. Electricity runs us between $110-$175 depending on the season, and internet is $40/month. The free shuttle to Ross and free breakfast are incredible. We love the pool and the Pelotons in the fitness center. The clubhouse is really great as well. We have two kids and a dog, and there are two parks inside Woodbury and an additional dog park. Work orders are always spot on and done within a day. We are yet to have a bad experience here and would 100% recommend to any MBA.

Great for Students
Overall, this is an above average apartment complex. Management is diligent, responsive, and caring. I have had good experiences working with them so far. The apartment amenities are really good for Ross students. There is breakfast every weekday morning; there is coffee available at all times; there is a shuttle bus to and from campus; there is a reasonably nice, small gym; there are study rooms and computers in the admin building. Also, there is a nice grocery store nearby, and it is within walking distance (about 30 min) of Ross, the Big House, and downtown. This is a good place to live for 2 years while going to school.

Great community, lots of open spaces
Nice to have a lot of space and a big community of Rossers. Wish they ran the shuttle more frequently - traveling by bus although can get annoying on nights/ weekends and you'll end up using Uber/ Lyft a lot!

Woodbury
Ideal for law students. The complex is mostly grad students, young professionals, families with young kids, and retirees so things are typically quiet.
The appartment has few problems (ie no mold, nothing has fallen appart) apart from occasional plumbing problems. Management is disorganized and can be slow to react to issues but is light years ahead of any other lamdlord I've had. Walls are quite thin.
Shuttle, gym, grill, pool and breakfast/free drinks are all nice, but shouldn't really inform your decision. The 6 bus picks up right on south industrial and will take you to school gaster than the shuttle usually but having both does add flexibility. Having luckys right around the corner comes in handy often for quick meals or picking up something you forgot groccery shopping.

Overpriced
overpriced. The place is falling apart and the maintenance ghetto rigs any “fixes”.

Safe and Warm
I like Woodbury Gardens, many grad students who have families and pets live here. Also non students and other professionals live in the area. The only thing I don't like is how far away it is from school.

Yost Reviews
I haven't had to go to school in person yet (due to the pandemic) - but once things are back in person, I would use the community shuttle to get to campus and possibly back depending on the time of day I head back. Otherwise, I would take the bus or walk. Walking takes about 30 min but the bus will cut down most of that since there is a city stop right at the entrance to Woodbury.
